This lesson practices writing an opinion essay. It teaches them how to write , follow the
instruction and what is the correct language to use in writing this essay.

Reflection:
In this lesson plan I did writing lesson about opinion essay about writing
skills and I includes many activities in different stages. Also, I used
different strategies in this lesson so, in this reflection I will write about
three stages, activities, strategies and how I taught the lesson plan.
In the first stage, I started the lesson by giving each pair one question
and one students will ask and the second student will answer. I did this
activity to engage them and get hint about our lesson.
In the second stage, I gave each pair text about writing skill, I led them to skim
and write the main idea in the whiteboard. Skimming is very important to their level
because that help them to get an idea of reading without reading. Then, I led the students
to read first
paragraph and then I asked them some questions relate to it. Asking
questions help teacher to check students understanding. After that, I introduced the
opinion essay process on smart board and how to write the opinion essay. So,
I led them to find the introduction , body and conclusion from that text
I gave it to them. That text was a molding to them because they will
write like it and same organization.
In the last stage presentation and reflection, went well because I gave them more actives
to check their comprehension of the lesson. So, I led the students to write their opinion
essay about reading skill and give their reasons and supports. The students were active
and stated to write their essay and I was monitoring them and check their grammar,
organization and spelling. Finally, I led them to sit with their partner and check their
writing and the process because checking their show teachers the students understanding.

To sum up, is important to recognize our lesson plan because it is important in teaching
and help the teacher to follow the right steps and do not lose her time to remember what
is the next activity. Also, Using strategies in writing lesson can affect students in reading,
speaking and knowledge. So, the teacher can use strategies in different ways because that
help the students to participate and interaction in writing class.
