of life. Scientists are constantly searching for answers to why things happen
the way they do. One of the most useful scientific foundings in the past
century is alternative energy. Alternative energy is energy that can be
renewable by using our natural world as a base for the energy it provides.
Studies shown that renewable energy is most ways is better than fossil fuels,
which is nearly 75% of the worlds energy source.
Alternative energy opens opportunities to use nearly anywhere in the
world, regardless of the climate present in the location. There are several
different types of energies such as: tidal, solar, and wind.. These are the
main alternative energies used across the world. Tidal is the use of waves in
the ocean generating to electricity. Solar is used by creating solar panels to
absorb the energy from the sun and use as electrical energy. Wind is also a
big energy user, as it is used by placing wind mills across a field where there
are windy conditions and converting
the energy to electricity. These are all
the main functions that the alternative
energies have to offer.
Since the United States is over
all very different in officiating the rules
on types of energies being used, it is
hard to convince for everyone to use
the same kind of energy. The problem with using fossil fuels is that they can
severely damage the atmosphere on Earth and all living things. In fact, about
80.9% of all U.S. greenhouse gas emissions are from human activities. The
rise in carbon dioxide from the use of fossil fuels is what is making the
changes in temperature across the world so dramatic. To be even more
specific transportation, electricity, and industries are the leading reason in
why we have seen in increase in carbon dioxide in the Earths atmosphere.
Since the Industrial Revolution began hundreds of years ago, human
activities have contributed substantially to climate change by adding CO2
and other trapping gases from leaving the atmosphere.
also the coast, then tidal energy would be used to power the homes,
restaurants, and other buildings that are near the coast so that the energy
used by the waves arent going to waste.
