Type 2 Diabetes

In type 2 diabetes it could be influenced by many factors in the United States like diets,
low activity levels, and heart diseases. The factors that affect type 2 diabetes is diets because
people have to watch what they eat or you will end up with diabetes. Not only that but other
factors that influence diabetes low activity levels because if you eat a lot of sugary foods you
will become obese. Then that could affect your activity rates cause you might not be in shape
like you use to be. In addition heart diseases affect type 2 diabetes because of the high
cholesterol in the body. The factors influencing Type 2 Diabetes in the US include high sugar
diets, low activity levels, and heart disease.

The author is claiming that in the United states of America Type 2 diabetes are mostly
influenced by sugar diets. In this paragraph, the body is unable to extract nourishment from
food, because glucose is not passed to the cells that need it (Lerner pg # 1).What the author is
the body is unable to extract nourishment from food, because glucose is not passed to the cells
that need it saying is that in diabetes the sugar is not passed in the cells because of nourishment
from the foods. In addition, Individuals with diabetes must take special care with their diet if
they are to achieve good blood glucose control with their insulin or other medication(Lerner pg

# 1 ). People with diabetes have to care of themselves with their diet because they will be able to
control their blood sugar with their medication. Also, A diet rich in complex carbohydrates,
which break down slowly, is one key to good blood glucose control(Lerner1).That the diet
breaks down
the sugar slowly for the sugar to keep the blood glucose level controllable. The diet of food
breaking down from the sugar in the body so the blood level can control it level it out.

The author is claiming that obesity can come from type diabetes like the fatty tissues
stored the the body.Additionally, Obesity is a condition where the bodies of mammals, such as
humans, have stored so much natural energy reserves that the fatty tissues they are stored in have
expanded to a point where it is medically considered a significant health risk, with a possible
increased rate of mortality to that body(Lerner pg # 1).The author is saying that obesity comes
from low activity levels because of all the weight the people have. Not to mention, The
condition has been linked to common but very serious diseases such as high blood pressure,
non-insulin independent diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular (heart) disease, and arthritis(Lerner
pg # 1).The author is saying that obesity is commonly paired with the others that affect type 2
diabetes. Especially considering the fact that, It is a condition that Obesity is a chronic,
metabolic disease caused by multiple and complex inherited and acquired factors affect millions
of Americans and is an increasing worldwide problem(Lerner pg # 1). The author is stating
that obesity is a metabolic disease that influences low activity levels of type 2 diabetes that is
inherited by a lot of Americans. This paragraph supports my thesis due to the low activity of
people with diabetes that is followed up by obesity.

The author is claiming that Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of risk factor that includes
increase in insulin and blood pressure.Addition, Metabolic syndrome, for example, a cluster of
risk factors that includes elevated blood triglycerides, high blood pressure, increased insulin
levels, and excess waist circumference, increases the risk for both diabetes and heart
disease(Lerner pg #s 1). What the author means is that Metabolic syndrome affects the risks of
diabetes and heart diseases. As well as, The primary risk factors for coronary artery disease are
diabetes, a family history of the disease (especially at an early age), smoking, sedentary lifestyle,
elevated blood pressure (hypertension), obesity, and an elevated amount of low-density
cholesterol (LDL, popularly dubbed bad cholesterol)(Lerner pg #s 1).Author is saying that
coronary artery disease is diabetes and that coronary artery disease has history of diseases that
fits in with it. What is more, Heart disease (cardiovascular disease) is any abnormal organic
condition of the heart or of the heart and circulatory system(Lerner pg #s 1). What the author is
saying is that Heart disease is an organic condition that occurs in your blood vessels. This
paragraph supports my thesis because of heart disease being a factor that is influencing diabetes.

Type 2 Diabetes is influencing the United states because of the risk factors it is influenced
by low activity levels, heart diseases, and sugar diets. My first body paragraph is about how diet
is influencing type 2 diabetes in the United States because of the food nourishment. My first
body paragraphs is mainly explaining diabetes being a most common disease in the United
States. Second paragraph talks about diabetes being influenced by obesity in the United States.
Lastly it talks about the risk factors of having type 2 diabetes in the United States. In the

United States high sugar diets, low activity levels, and heart diseases all factors that influenced
type 2 diabetes.
