Introduction
He broke the record! He has broken the record
for the most 3-point shots made in a single season!
Most of you should know who Im talking about by
now if you even listen to other people talk about
sports and what not. The Golden State Warriors
main player, and the 2015 NBA MVP of the year,
Stephen Curry! He is arguably the best player in
the NBA right now. He has made the TV ratings\
how many people watch an NBA game rise
dramatically by his style of playing. He is the most
human, they say, in the NBA. This is
implementing that he is not that tall, he is not
extremely built or muscular, and it peaks us to our
interest because it reminds us that anybody can do
it if you work hard enough, train hard enough, and
want it bad enough to fulfill and do whatever needs
to be possible to get to where you want to be.
Stephen Curry, if he is not the best in the NBA then
I definitely believe he is one of the most influential
players in the league right now. He will go down in
the hall of fame.

This is Sports Center here with you on this beautiful day
March 28, 2018, and we are here today, with yet again another
remarkable story about the man of the game, Steph Curry. Steph
has done it once again, he broke his old record for the most 3
pointers in the season, as well as breaking his own career records
for his average points per game. I tell ya, it seems like this man is
just absolutely unstoppable! Every year he comes with something
new, comes with something better and I never thought it was
even possible for a player like him to do better than he has.
Stephen Curry is the man who can make the team.

Biographical Summary
Wardell Stephen Curry II was born on March 14, 1988, in Akron, Ohio, but
mainly grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. The oldest son of former NBA player
Dell Curry, the junior Curry learned the fundamentals of basketball by watching and
practicing with his father. However, it was mom Sonya, a former Division I volleyball
star, who instilled the discipline to train in her son while Dell Sr. was with his team
on road trips. Curry enrolled at tiny Davidson College near his hometown. He
immediately showcased his skills by scoring 32 points against the University of
Michigan in his second game and wound up earning Southern Conference freshman
of the year honors. Curry became a national star in March of his sophomore year,
when he carried the Wildcats to a berth in the regional finals of the NCAA
tournament with a series of high-scoring performances. After leading the nation with
an average of 28.6 points per game as a junior, the All-American was selected with
the seventh pick of the 2009 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors. People would
question how steph would do in the NBA with him not being very big, muscular, or
strong but Curry proved more than capable of handling the NBA opposition with his
shooting and ball-handling abilities. The 6'3" guard averaged more than 22 points
per game after the 2010 All-Star break. Curry got a sprained ankle while practicing
with the national team, and injury that was a factor for about two seasons. A return
in full health of the 2012-13 season, Curry responded with his come back by setting
a new NBA record with 272 three-pointers. Named the Western Conference Player of
the Month in April, he followed by leading the Warriors to an upset against the
Denver Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs. After Curry got his first all-star in
2014, he reached new levels of performance and popularity the following season. As
one half of the "Splash Brothers" duo, which also featured sharpshooting guard Klay
Thompson, Curry led an the Warriors to an early 16-game win streak and was the
leading vote-getter for the 2015 All-Star Game. Curry went on to set a new record
with 286 three-pointers and led the league in steals, an impressive all-around
showcase that proved he had earned the Most Valuable Player Award. He then
capped a memorable season by helping the Warriors knock off LeBron James and
the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA finals, giving the team its first championship
since 1975. Out of the starting gate in the 2015-16 season, Curry yhelped the
Warriors to a 24 consecutive winning game streak that ended up giving them the
new best record in NBA history for a season, with a 73-9 record for the year. He also
broke another record this season of the most three-pointers made in a single
season, reaching an astounding number of 402 and having a league high of 30.1
points this season. This 2015-16 season was obviously Currys year to shine as well,
in May 2016, Curry became the first person to be named Most Valuable Player by
unanimous vote in NBA history, and one of only 11 players to win the MVP award
two years in a row. He was elected to be the MVP by all 131 voters. Stephen Curry is
such a dazzling basketball player and has so much skill and talent, that some
people say they should go ahead and retire his jersey number 30 for the Warriors

and just let Steph have a different number until he actually retires. Statistics wise,
Stephen Curry is the best in the NBA as of right now.
