CAPITAL REGION
FAMILY HEALTH & FITNESS
Dear Capital Region YMCA Member,
On behalf of myself and the entire Board of Directors, Id like to extend our sincerest appreciation for your enduring
commitment and support of the Capital Region YMCA. Because of valuable members such as you, the organization has been
able to offer countess programs and services to all facets ofthe Tallahassee and Leon County community throughout the lst
‘years
Since 1952, the Capital Region YMCA has grown and evolved to meet the needs of its members and ensure its programs and
classes remain accessible 10 every single person in our local community regardless of status, income or age.
Due to recent policy changes of YUSA divergent from our goal of meeting the diverse needs of our local community, the
Board of Directors has made the decision to establish an independent organization, unaffiliated with YUSA for now, capable
of adapting to the ever-changing needs of our members, Therefore, as of May 9, the Capital Region YMCA will become
Capital Region Family Health and Fitness.
So what does this change mean to you? Essentially nothing. Be assured that all programs and services you've come to enjoy
will remain the same if not better, whether itis a Les Mills class, a youth sports program, summer / after school eamps or our
monthly senior luncheons. You, our members, are our highest priority; this positive change will revitalize the organization and
provide for long-desired improvements,
Every current staff person and Board of Directors member stand atthe ready fo answer any questions you may have and
enthusiastically weleome your input. We look forward to embarking on this new journey with you and providing meaningful
programs and Services to éach member of the Capital Region for years to come.
Sincerely,
Aaron L, Boyette
