Veryoftenthesyntacticstructureofthesentenceundergoeschangesduringthe
processoftranslation.Oneofthemostfrequenttransformationsistransposition
(changeofwordorder).TheEnglishsentenceischaracterizedbyaverystrict
wordordersubject+predicate+object+adverbialmodifier.InRomanianthe
wordorderisnotsostrict.Inbothlanguagesthelogicalcenterofthesentence
(whatsnewinthesentence)isattheendofthesentence.However,thereare
frequentcaseswhenthelogicalcenteroftheEnglishsentenceisatthe
beginningandinthesecasestranspositionisusedinordertotranslatethem.For
