 The Phoenix facility in Hyderabad has a food

What is the benefit and how does it work?
 At Unisys India, 25 days of paid time off
is bifurcated into different types, based
on the statutory requirement and market
practices in respective states. Details as
per the location are given in the table
below.
 Upon joining Unisys, I accumulate leave
on a prorated basis.
 Annual Leaves cant be accumulated
beyond 40 days and will lapse on a real
time basis.

What is the procedure for me to avail this
benefit?
 I am required to get prior approval from my
reporting leader and apply for leave through
the Unisys leave management system
(WebPay). Also, I need to enter my leave
accordingly in WebTime.
 For sick / casual leave, I need to keep my
leader informed and get an approval on
return to work.
 If I am absent from work for more than one
day due to sickness, a doctors certificate
is required.

Maternity Leave
Helping me savor motherhood
What is the benefit and how does it work?
 I am entitled to paid Maternity leave in
accordance with the Maternity Benefits
Act, 1961. The maximum period of
Maternity benefit is 12 weeks.
What is the procedure for me to avail this
benefit?
 I can apply for leave through the Unisys
leave management system (WebPay) and
my leader needs to approve it.

When am I eligible to avail this benefit?


 If I have worked for 80 days during the 12
months immediately preceding the date of
expected delivery, then I am eligible for
Maternity leave.
 The 12 weeks can be broken up into preand post-delivery time, unless the attending
physician or medical practitioner supports a
lesser absence from work, prior to the
delivery:
- Six weeks up to and including the day of
my delivery; and
- Six weeks immediately following that day

 I am entitled to five working days of paid
Paternity leave, in the event of childbirth,
up to a maximum of two children.
 Unutilized Paternity leave cannot be
encashed or carried forward, and lapses
at the end of the calendar year.

 Unisys India provides a total of 10 paid
national and festival holidays annually, which
helps me spend time with my family.
 I am entitled to Compensatory Offs or one

 I am entitled to eight weeks (56 calendar days)
of paid Critical Illness leave in the event I am

What is the benefit and how does it work?
 I can opt for food coupons worth INR 50 per
meal during office hours, subject to a
maximum limit of INR 1,100 per month.
 I avail tax rebate as per income tax provisions.
When am I eligible to avail this benefit?
 From the day I start working at Unisys.
What is the procedure for me to avail
this benefit?
 I can opt for food coupons through an
annual survey. I must provide a
declaration to this effect to the India
Payroll team.
 If I join on or after the 18th of the
month, I will be able to collect my food
coupons in the subsequent month,
subject to submission of the completed
declaration form on the date of joining.
 I cannot withdraw once I opt for food
coupons during a financial year.

What is the benefit and how does it work?


 I am eligible for a medical reimbursement of
INR 1,250 as a monthly component of my
salary.
 I can claim tax exemption on pharmacy bills,
domiciliary, and hospitalization expenses not
covered under Medical Insurance for me and
my dependents.
 Tax benefit on my medical reimbursement is
subject to income tax rules (the present
exemption limit under income tax rules is INR
15,000 in a financial year i.e. April to March).

What is the procedure for me to avail
this benefit?
 I need to submit my medical bills once
in a quarter as per the instruction I
receive from India Payroll team.

Leave Travel Allowance (LTA)

What is the benefit?


 If I declare Leave Travel Allowance (LTA) in the
beginning of the financial year (April) or at the
time of joining, whichever is earlier, I will then
be given LTA as a yearly payment along with
my March salary based on the submission of
relevant bills. This is governed by the provision
of the Income Tax Act.
 The tax rules provide an exemption only for
two journeys performed in a period of four
calendar years.
 It is applicable for domestic travel only.

 From the day I start working at Unisys.
What is the procedure for me to avail this
benefit?
 I need to apply for three consecutive
days of annual leave in WebPay and get
my leaders approval on the same.
 I have to submit the relevant documents

maximum of INR 50 lakhs.

When do I avail this benefit?


 This is a deferred benefit and is given
to my nominee only in the unfortunate
event of my death while employed with

 Personal Accident Insurance provides me
with financial assistance in the event of
an injury and disablement as a result of
an accident.
 The cause of injury or disablement may
arise directly or indirectly, connected or
traceable to the employment with Unisys.
 My eligibility is twice my Comp 2, up to a
maximum of INR 6 lakhs.

What is the benefit and how does it work?


 Helps me and my family take care of our
essential medical needs. It covers me, my
spouse, two children, and parents or
in-laws (either set of parents/ in-laws).
 I co-share 10% for the premium amount
 I am covered for a sum of INR 3 lakhs.
 If I want an enhanced cover for my family,
I can opt for voluntary top up ranging from
INR 1 lakh to 5 lakhs against an annual
premium that will be deducted from my
salary. I can opt for voluntary top up
during annual renewal of the policy if I am
an existing associate or at the time of
joining if I am a new hire.
 I have to co-pay 20% of the total claims
for my dependents

What is the benefit and how does it work?
 I am eligible for gratuity on completion of
five years of continuous service in Unisys
India.
 It is given at the time of superannuation,
resignation, or on death.
 The requirement of five years of
continuous service does not apply in the
unfortunate event of death.
 My gratuity calculation is as follows:
Gratuity = last drawn monthly basic x
15/26 x no. of continuous years of
service in Unisys India. The maximum
limit is INR 10 lakhs.

When am I eligible to avail this benefit?


 From the day I start working at Unisys India.
What is the procedure for me to avail this
benefit?
 I need to register at:
https://www.vantagecircle.com/unisys using my
Unisys email ID.
 I will then receive a verification email from
Vantage Circle. I will have to follow the steps
provided to complete the registration.
 Next time I can log in with my user name and
password and enjoy the great deals.
