TERMS OF THE COMPETITION ‘© Contestants must have been born on or after 1 January 1989, Guitarists of any nationality ean enter the competition as long as they have been resident in the EU for at least 12 months and/or are eurrently enrolled in a UK eonservatoire. Previous entrants, but not first prize winners, may take part. © Contestants will have to play: 1) Wvor Mairants - Any work, or selected movement(s) from ‘Jazz Sonatas for Guitar’ (Mel Bay), of no more than five to seven minutes. The entry fee will not be refunded under normal circumstances. © Contestants bear full responsibility for travelling to, and accommodation in, London. Travel arrangements must not be made until a place in the competition has been confirmed by the Clerk of the Musicians’ Company. The panel of judges will consist of not less than three internationally acknowledged adjudicators. The judges have the right not to award a prize, should there be no performance de- serving of it. The decision of the judges is final and indisputable.
