abuse on children

what is it?

As many as five children die every day as a result of


child abuse.
Approximately 80% of these children who die are
under the age of four.

Types of child abuse

Effect 1
The children will experience
(a) post traumatic problems
their trust towards people will gradually decrease
(b) changes in behaviour
can lead them to a mindset where they will follow
what the perpetrators had done to them.

Effect 2
Besides psychological trauma, children too
experience..
(a) physical injuries
bruises, cuts, scars and pains everywhere and
happens all the time.
(b) deterioration of health condition
cardiovascular problem, immune suppression
and handicapped.

These innocent children arent


supposed to be treated this way

Effect 3
The children will also tend to..
(a) hide their familys secret
their thoughts are distorted and this forces them
to hide the familys secret
(b) have the mindset of not involving themselves in
any serious relationship
they cannot trust other people
become anti social
