Dear Parents/Caregivers

Weather permitting, the Balmacewen Intermediate Cross Country will be held

at school on Friday 20th August. It will take place between 11am and 12.30pm,
with the students running at the following times:

Year 7 girls 11.00am

Year 7 boys 11.20am
Year 8 girls11.40am
Year 8 boys 12.00pm

The postponement day will be the Friday of the following week.

The results of theses races will be used to select the students which will
represent Balmacewen Intermediate at the Intermediate Schools Cross Country
to be held at Balmacewen Intermediate on Friday 10th September.

Students will need to have a nutritious lunch on the day of the cross country
and they will need to have a water bottle at school. They are expected to wear
correct sports uniform; navy shorts (no trackies please) the school sports
t.shirt and sports shoes and socks. The students should also have their jersey
or school tracksuit jacket and their dark blue track pants to put on afterwards.
If students wish to wear house colours they may, however there is to be no
vivid used on arms, legs etc.

Students will still come to school in their correct school uniform and will change
into their PE gear at interval.

As always we welcome and appreciate the support of all parents, friends and
relatives.
