Budget 2008 - Changes in Indirect Taxes

Finance Act, 2008 has received assent of President on 10-5-2008. Service tax on new services has been
made effective from 16-5-2008.

Some important issues arising out of budget charges are discussed in this Article. Obviously, most of the
changes relate to service tax.
