After the parade, students will return to their homerooms for planned activities.
All classes will take part in the Halloween costume parade after lunch, followed by classroom
activities. To ensure that student costumes are appropriate for a school environment, below
are some guidelines for costumes.
1. Please ensure that your child’s costume is appropriate for the school atmosphere,
keeping in mind that there are many young children who may be frightened by anything
to scary or gory.
2. No weapons (fake or real) are to be brought to school. This includes, but is not limited
to, plastic swords, fake guns, or any type of cane or stick.
3. Students are to be respectful of others in the community. Please ensure that we are
considerate of other cultures and religions when choosing costumes.
4. No costumes are to be worn during the morning. Students will be able to change into
their costume at lunch time for the afternoon activities.
Thanks for your support on this and we look forward to a fun day on October 29th!
Sincerely,
George Couros
