indications Adjunct to diet for the reduction of elevated total and Indicated for:
LDL cholesterol, apolipoprotein B, and triglyceride Short-term treatment of activeduodenal ulcer;
levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia (Type First-line therapy in treatment of heartburn or
IIA, IIB, and IIC); adjunctive therapy to diet for symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease
treatment of elevated serum triglyceride levels (Type (GERD); Short-term treatment of active benign
IV); gastric ulcer.
Long-term therapy:
Treatment of pathologic hypersecretory
conditions (Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, multiple
adenomas, systemic mastocytosis)
Contraindications Hypersensitivity to atorvastatin or any component; Contraindicated with hypersensitivity to
active liver disease; unexplained persistent omeprazole or its components;
elevations of serum transaminases; pregnancy
use cautiously with pregnancy, lactation.
