mission statement

Asian Culture Expressions has established itself as the premier student-produced fashion and benefit gala in New York, displaying a mosaic of cultural diversity, beautiful design, and inspiring self-expression. Nearing its 30th anniversary, ACE is presenting PULSE as the theme for this year's show. Combining New York City's dynamic urban culture and Asian heritage, ACE aspires to unite community members, to present up-and-coming fashion designers and performing talents, and to provide a platform for the expression of Asian culture and diversity through modern concepts and arts.

about our organization

Sponsored by the Asian Cultural Union (ACU) at New York University, our mission is one and the same: to deepen awareness of diversity at NYU and enrich the lives of the community. ACU has been recognized by the mayor's office of New York City as a club of distinction by "making contributions in understanding and education of not only Asian culture, but all cultures." ACE is a benefit gala dedicated to casting light on the rich and varied essences of Asian culture and sharing the rewards of altruism. This year, ACE will continue its tradition in offering the academic and professional community a vivid display of cultural talent through established and emerging designers, and rising artists.
