Hong Kong Cookbook Publishing Rewarded!

Three cookbooks from Hong Kong were honoured at the Gourmand World
Cookbook Awards in London April 13, 2008.

One more Award for Hot Tomatoes

Angelo McDonnell has already received two awards for his “Hot Tomatoes”.
Now he has received an international award as one of the three best cookbooks
in the world on a single subject. First place went to a Venison cookbook from
the UK, second place to Spanish ham Jamón Ibérico, third is for Hong Kong.
There were books from 31 countries competing in that category.

These Hong Kong cookbooks are now exhibited at the London Book Fair on
Stand U800 the Gourmand/LBF Cookbook Corner. They will be exhibited at the
