A NIGHT AT THE OPERA

Is an evening for all lovers of music and theatre to
savour.

The audience are taken on a journey through many

of the most famous moments that opera and music
theatre can provide, with such favourites as,
Puccini‟s “O mio babbino cara” (famously lip-
synched to comic success by Rowan Atkinson in the
film „Mr Bean‟s Holiday‟) famous duets from „The
Pearl Fishers‟; „Lakme‟, (which everyone now knows
as the British Airways theme) and of course a
collection of the more sublime moments of Mozart.
EXPERIENCE 20
For sheer beauty there is “Vilja” from „The Merry
OPERAS Widow‟; “Mon Coeur” where Delilah famously wins
the heart of Samson; and the „Evening Prayer‟ from
IN ONE GLORIOUS „Hansel & Gretel‟.

NIGHT
Or for boisterous drama there is the „Toreodor‟s
Song‟ from „Carmen‟ followed by the seductively
languid „Habanera‟; and then to close the first half,
Saturday 26th March At Brindisi from „La Traviata‟.

and then to musicals - many of them having been
Langdon Down Centre written by such serious composers as Gershwin and
Bernstein.
Langdon Park Sprinkle in between a few suprises and top it all off
with the most famous aria of all time,”Nessun
Teddington Dorma”.
