ELEAS
NEW R ICAO World Air Services Agreements (WASA) database is being launched as a new enhanced
on-line product accessible to States, industry, and the general public. The database contains
World Air Services Agreements Web Database the original text of bilateral agreements and amendments registered with ICAO. An analytical tool
allows the users to identify the existence or the absence of up to 90 distinct provisions covering the
scope and type of the agreement, administrative clauses, grant of traffic rights, exercise of rights, and
capacity and tariff clauses.
Product Utility
WASA empowers regulators and aviation experts to evaluate developments in the air
transport field, to run comparative analyses of air services agreements, and to assess the
degree of liberalization between parties and on different routes. The database contains more
than 2,500 summaries of bilateral air services agreements and the full text of over 1,900
agreements and arrangements.
Targeted Audience
This product is intended for air services negotiators from civil aviation authorities and consultants
analysing and researching markets on behalf of regulators. Professionals working in the aviation
