Notes :
Following assumptions have been made in above calculation -
a) The calculation is made at the AC Input Mains voltage of 230V and DC busbar nominal voltage of 110V . The input current at 230V will increase at 150V
AC to a value as shown above and the input source may be ensured to provide this load.
b) Signalling load of 16.14A at 110V DC except track circuit is considering the loads for Spare cell charger, Data logger & SSI equipment connected to IPS.
Also, though block line, block tele and Route indicator are intermittent loads, the sizing is based taking it continuous load as worst condition.
c) Point load is not considered for this calculation as its is momentary ( <10secs) and that the surge current required by point machines is provided by battery
during this period.
d) Track Circuits load are directly fed from the Mains / DG Set through a CVT and Step Down Transformers and not through Inverter. Axle counters have
been used only for block proving and not in lieu of track cirucits.
