Steps Ior ReIurbishment order:

1. The order use Ior repairable spares ( combination oI material and serial number, Ior which an
equipment master record can also be created. )
2. The repairable spares disentail Iirst & change the valuation type DeIective. ( In case oI
valuation types are new, reIurbished, deIective )
3. Creation a ReIurbishment Order
a) The header data screen appears Ior the reIurbishment order, enter the material number.
b) In the section Quantities, enter the total number oI repairable spares which should be
reIurbished Ior this order.
c) The plant and storage location Irom which you want to withdraw the repairable spares to be
reIurbished ( Valuation Type : DeIective )
d) The plant and storage location to which you will return the repairable spares to be
reIurbished. (Valuation Type : ReIurbished )
e) Save the reIurbishment order.
4. The employees responsible Ior the reIurbishment withdraw the repairable spares to be
reIurbished Irom the warehouse, along with all the other materials scheduled in the order that
you require Ior the reIurbishment. The goods issue is entered. ( Movement Type 261)
5. The employees responsible Ior the reIurbishment enter completion conIirmations Ior the
reIurbishment order. These completion conIirmations provide an indication oI how much work
has been done.
6. A goods receipt ( movement Type 101 ) is posted Ior the reIurbished repairable spares. This
automatically updates the valuation type (ReIurbished) in the serial number master record. The
repairable spares are now in Iull working order again and can be used.
7.The quantity delivered is displayed in the order header.
8. ReIurbishment orders can be settled to the material to be reIurbished.
9.The order balance is subsequently settled to the material account according to the current price.
( The material price Ior that valuation type i.e. reIurbished is update )
For creating reIurbishment order Ior material, you should have 3 valuation types Ior material, e.g
C1-New, C2-ReIurbished, C3-DeIective, these valuation types are deIined in system by MM
consultant.
