Dylan Shaw Josh Fowler Gokhul Haresh Robert Burger Why We Chose Our Topic? We chose our topic Revolution In The South because we live in an area that was part of The Confederacy during the civil war, also we live in an area in which many racism and slavery used to be accepted. Although we now realize how inhumane it is and even that we lost the war, a good thing, it is very important to understand the prelude to the war, why we fought the war, the decisions, and consequences. How Our Concept Relates To This Years Theme. Our title is, Revolution In The South, it is a website entry that discusses how the South revolutionized many years ago from slavery being legal to being illegal and the most immoral thing you can possibly do. The theme this year for National History Day is Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History, our topic, Revolution In The South, relates to the topic mainly through the area of revolution because the south was revolutionized from having slavery as their main form of income to blacks being treated equally. Also in reaction area too by people in North demanding slavery be abolished as well as people in the South known how all of humanity should have the same rights, no matter what color or ethnicity. Lastly in such ways such as reform of the blacks and some whites that felt what was happening to the blacks was wrong and uncivilized.

We have conducted research through the Hillsborough County Public Library System, both in their online library and public libraries. The sources that we have used in hard the hard book area is the Bloomingdale Regional Public Library and the John F. Germany Library. In the online area we have used Student Britannica, Britannica, and Gale Online. We have had many sources topping over 25 sources at the moment. How We Plan To Develop Our Website. It is a wonderful idea how we can have so much information in something as small as a laptop, for the information we have would not be able to shown on any size poster. It is also a wonderful idea how me can use multimedia and HTML/CSS coding to format our website to our personal wants. This is information at our fingertips, something so useful and powerful all in one. Finally our group is very knowledgeable in the area of computers and programming, that was a major decision maker in deciding to make a website.
