The details are available at http://www.actuariesindia.org/entryexam.html. Within about 24 hrs of the site going alive at 5:00 pm on 10th November, 2011, about 500 persons have created their accounts and 221 paid (on line) for the ACET. The Examinations will be conducted on 28th and 29th Jan., 2012 in fifty one centers across forty eight (48) Cities in India. I have been communicating through my column in the Actuary India about the Entry Exams (now christened ACET) and Varun Gupta, Chair of the Advisory Group on Examinations too has been communicating through his column as well as Articles about things to come in this regard. ACET is an initiative that has the potential and is expected to change the phase of Indian actuarial profession for better and needs efforts in marketing by all of us.
