Q1: How would you describe carols trait? Carols trait can be described through the following points: Self confidence When the companys reputation was going down, at that time she took some good steps to increase the reputation from going downward for which she had selfconfidence that these steps are right for the company. Moreover after the death of her husband, Carol spent a lot of months to be familiar with the employees of the company to know the working style and the process which is being followed by the company as of the current period. Intelligence First she did a wide analysis of the company that had reasons to purchase office supplies. Based on her understanding of the companys abilities and her assessment of the potential market she developed a specific set of short term and long term goals for the company. Carol decided not to sell the business but to run it herself. Moreover her degree in business with major in management helped her to take a lot of right and viable steps for the company in the areas of marketing as well as to decide on the right time of investment etc. These steps show the intelligence traits of Carol. Integrity She was honest and sincere to her work and task. She also trusted on the employees which helped her to create an atmosphere of faith and family. Moreover when some of her employees quit after the death of Baines Carol provided a sense of support and interests to them. She was a person of strong moral principal.

Q2: How big a part did carols traits play in the expansion of the company? Carols trait signifies an important role in the expansion of the company. After her husbands death she worked very hard for the company and took to the heights where her husband wanted. Since she took over the company, it showed steady improvements. Prior her joining there were only five employees which later stood out to a figure of 20 after she joined. Her management degree proved to be useful as she made confident investments in the areas of finance, marketing, advertisement and sales which helped the company to rise to new heights and make more procurements and recruitments. Q3: Would Carol be a leader in other business contexts? Yes, Carol can be a leader in other business contexts too since she has all the abilities of a leader. Carol is a very solid personality. She cared deeply about others fair and considerate. She believes in creating a family-like atmosphere with the employees which implies her sense of building human relationships. She supports the interest of her employees alongside with the company. Moreover her business degree can help her to master in any field and to standout as a leader as she has a good notion of how to manage the areas of a company (viz. finance, marketing, advertisement, sales etc) provided with experience.
