OVERVIEW: Teachers at WBMS have requested assistance with the use of Web 2.0 tools.
They have indicated they would use the new technologies if provided training. Specifically, there is a need for a new presentation tool to use in their classrooms as PowerPoint is the only one currently being used. Additionally, teachers would like to be introduced to a presentation tool that students can access from anywhere. The SLMS will provide a lesson and demonstration of how to use ZohoShow 2.0 to 6th grade teachers during their grade level meeting.

FINAL PRODUCT: SLMS will demonstrate how to use ZohoShow 2.0. Teachers will have
hands-on experience with the technology.

LIBRARY LESSON(S): The SLMS will introduce the staff development lesson using a VOKI.
She will provide a hands-on demonstration of how to use ZohoShow 2.0 to 6th grade teachers. The SLMS will also show teachers how to access help and tutorials for future use of the new technology.

ASSESSMENT
Product: Media Specialist assessed by observing teachers use of ZohoShow 2.0. Process: SLMS walked around room to monitor teachers use of the technology tool.

Teacher self-questioning: Do I feel comfortable with the basic use of ZohoShow 2.0? Do I know where to go for help with this technology in the future? Do I have any unanswered questions?

INSTRUCTION/ACTIVITIES
Direct Instruction: The SLMS provides training in the school computer lab to 6 th grade teachers on how to use ZohoShow 2.0. The SLMS talks about the benefits of ZohoShow 2.0 for both students and teachers. The SLMS shared with teachers where to access help using this technology in the future. Modeling and Guided Practice: The SLMS demonstrates how to import an existing presentation and how to create a new presentation in ZohoShow 2.0. Independent Practice: Teachers will follow along with SLMS by signing into ZohoShow 2.0. Teachers will experiment with the new technology and ask questions. Sharing and Reflecting: The teachers shared their excitement and appreciation of the new technology. They indicated they would be using the new technology in the future with their students.
