Manuscrisele care au fost descoperite ntre 1947 i 1956 n mai multe grote de lng Khirbet Qumran dateaz din perioada 250 .Hr. - 70 d.Hr. i au rmas n istorie sub denumirea de "Manuscrisele de la Marea Moart".

Fragmentele descoperite alctuiesc circa 900 scrieri suluri i fragmente care poart denumirea generic de SCRIERI/TEXTE

i au aparinut sectei ascetice a esenienilor, care numra circa 4000 de membri.

Scrierile conin cea mai complet copie a crii lui Isaia, texte de rugciuni, interpretri biblice, fragmente de poezii, texte de nelepciune, dar i o list a tuturor locurilor funerare unde erau ascunse obiectele sacre i profane ce alctuiau tezaurul Templului de la Ierusalim nainte de a fi distrus de ctre romani n anul 70 d.Hr.

Manuscrisele de la Marea Moart sunt o colecie de 972 de texte din Biblia ebraic i extra-biblice documente gsite ntre 1947 si 1956, pe malul de nord-vest a Mrii Moarte , din care deriva numele lor. Ele au fost n mod special situate la Khirbet Qumran n regiune tampon ntre Israel I Iordania n Mandatul Britanic pentru Palestina , ceea ce este acum cunoscut sub numele de West Bank [ Malul vestic/ Cisiordania ].

Textele sunt de o mare importan religioas i istoric, aa cum acestea includ cele mai vechi cunoscute de copii care au supravieuit ale documentelor biblice i extra-biblice i s pstreze dovezi de o mare diversitate la sfritul anului al doilea Templu iudaism . Ele sunt scrise n ebraic , aramaic i greac , mai ales pe pergament , dar sunt i texte ,scrise pe papirus . Aceste manuscrise, n general, data ntre 150 .Hr. i 70 CE. , Manuscrisele de la tradiional sunt identificate cu sect evreiesc numit Esenienii , dei unele interpretri recente au contestat aceast asociaie i susin c sulurile antice au fost scris de ctre preoi n Ierusalim , adokimii familiseii scribilor din ADOK , sau alte grupuri de evrei necunoscute.

Manuscrisele de la Marea Moarta sunt n mod tradiional mprite n trei grupe: "biblice", manuscrise (copii de texte din Biblia ebraic ), care cuprind aproximativ 40% din suluri identificate; " apocrife "sau" Pseudepigraphical "(documente de manuscrise cunoscute de-al doilea Templu Perioada ca Enoh , Jubilee , Tobit , Sirah , suplimentar psalmi , etc, care nu au fost n cele din urm canonizat n Biblia ebraic ), care cuprind aproximativ 30% din suluri identificate; i "sectare" (documente manuscrise necunoscute anterior, care vorbesc despre normele i credinele unui anumit grup [sau grupuri din ]cadrul mai mare al micrilor religioase din iudaism ). Cum ar fi articolul Comunitii , Sulul Rzboiului , Pesher /Comentariu pe Habacuc (ebraic: pesher = "Comentariu"), i Regula de Binecuvntare , care cuprind aproximativ 30% din ce s-a identificat ca fiind suluri.

n iarna anului 1946-1947, Muhammed edh-Dhib i vrul su a descoperit peteri, i, n curnd dup aceea sulurile, nu departe de ruinele de la Khirbet Qumran cunoscute care au fost cunoscute pentru a exploratorii europeni din secolul al 19-lea.

Aezarea antic / situl excavat de la Qumran, este locul sugerat de ctre Plinius cel Btrn ,i este la un kilometru interiorul de la malul nord-vest a Mrii Moarte suluri au fost gsite n 11 peteri din apropiere, ntre 125 de metri (Pestera 4) i un kilometru (pestera 1 ) departe. Nu au fost gsite n texte de aezarea antic excavat, prin urmare, faptul c nu a atrage investigaii suplimentare pe terenul din apropiere, i a rmas necunoscut, care a inclus iniial locaia separat de peterile care nu sunt menionate n textele antice dei au fost locuite i folosite drept seif pentru tezaurele biblice.. n apropierea periferic a aezrii snt vanele(bazinele) unei surse de ap : -fapt ce a fost explicat prin prezena a mikvahot (bi rituale), n ritualurile ideilor religioase , creditarea n continuare n care credea comunitatea fiind una din bazele(temeliile spiritual) a comunitii eseniene. Cu toate acestea, mai trziu, analiza

comparativ a ceramicii, descoperirea de sonde de cerneal, i dou straturi de cenu sugereaz care suluri au fost produse la aezare din vale (cmpul locuit al aezerii), dar toate textele prezente n cldirile n timpul raidului roman au fost distruse n incendiu care a urmat, explicnd lipsa de material organic n site-ul.

John C. Trever reconstituit povestea acelor suluri de la discuii avute n mai multe interviuri cu beduinul . Vrul Edh-Dhib a observant alte fragmente n peteri, dar edh-Dhib nsui a fost primul care a cdea de accord de fapt, ntr-o singur. El a preluat o mna de pergamente, care Trever identific ca Defilai Isaia , Comentariu Habacuc , i normei comunitare (iniial cunoscut sub numele de "Manual de disciplin"), i le-a luat napoi la tabr pentru a arta la familia sa. Nici unul dintre suluri nu au fost distruse n acest proces, n ciuda zvonurilor populare. Beduinul pstreaz sulurile agate pe un stlp din cort ,n timp ce ei htrau i negociau ce s fac cu ele, , lundu-le periodic prin trgurile din Ierusalim i Aman sau anticariatele britanice pentru a arta oamenilor. La un moment dat n acest timp, norma comunitar a fost mprit n dou.

Mai jos avei lista textelor a tuturor scrierilor descoperite n kibuul Kalia -Massada la situl arheologic al aezrii antice Kibereth-Qumran. Pentru a risipi ,a destrma mitul conform cruia evreii fiind ri i nebotezai cretini [nc], ascund sulurile sfinte, pstrnd ADEVRUL BIBLIC exclusive pentru ei i mntuirea exclusivist a naiunii lor, n dauna i deavoarea celorlalte naiuni i grupuri naionale(nerecunoscute official-diplomatic). Acest teorie conspiraionistnazist dei nu este real ,totui a prins devenind una din convingerile miilor de oamnei .Care netiind UNDE i CND i CE ANUME s caute , au crezut c le este oprit accesul liber i nengrdit la informaiile cu privire la Manuscrisele de la Marea Moart Qumran. Exist o singur problem : cele mai multe suluri sau frmiat fiind n fragmente de 1-3 cm. iar restaurarea include un PUZZLE gigantic , n a ghici unde anume i mai ales din care SUL SFNT este fragmentul .

Foarte probabil esenienii i-au avut nceputurile pe la jumtatea secolului al II-lea .Hr., n timpul macabeilor. Ducnd o via separat de restul societii, ei s-au organizat n comuniti izolate, de tip celibatar dedicat pe cicluri de 49 de ani conform legii iudaice asemeni nazirenilor. i nicidecum monastic. n ceea ce privete credina lor religioas, se tie c esenienii l ateptau pe Mesia ca pe un rege al iudeilor, care s-i elibereze de sub dominaia pgnilor, pentru a putea ntemeia mpria lui Dumnezeu. Cci a putea oare atepta n tcere ziua necazului, ziua cnd asupritorul va merge mpotriva poporului? 17. Cci chiar dac smochinul nu va nflori, via nu va da nici un rod, rodul mslinului va lipsi, i cmpiile nu vor da hran, oile vor pieri din staule, i nu vor mai fi boi n grajduri, 18. eu tot m voi bucura n Domnul, m voi bucura n Dumnezeul mntuirii mele! 19. Domnul Dumnezeul este tria mea; El mi face picioarele ca ale cerbilor, i m face s merg pe nlimile mele. Ctre mai marele cntreilor. De cntat cu instrumente cu coarde.

ENGLISH EXPLICATION

The Commentary on Habakkuk (Pesher Habakkuk, 1QpHab), is a relative complete scroll (1.48 m long) and one of the seven original Dead Sea Scrolls discovered in caves of Qumran in 1947. It interprets the first two chapters of the biblical book of the prophet Habakkuk and comprises 13 columns written in Hebrew, in a clear, square Herodian script. However, the tetragrammaton, the four-letter, ineffable name of God, is written in ancient Hebrew characters, unlike the rest of the text. The scroll has been dated to the second half of the first century BCE. In this work, the verses of the biblical book are copied paragraph by paragraph, in their original order. The scriptural text of Habakkuk on which the commentary is based, however, appears to be at variance from time to time with the Masoretic text. One relates to the internal religious politics of Jerusalem and the Temple priesthood, and the other to the repercussions of the appearance of the Romans (called in the work Chaldeans or Kittim) on the historical scene. As in most of works of this genre, no historical personages are mentioned by name, but there are allusions to such individuals as "the Teacher of Righteousness," "the Wicked Priest," "the Man of Lies," and others, whose exact identities have yet to be established. This exceptionally well-preserved scroll is a key source of our knowledge of the spiritual life of the secluded Qumran community. It sheds light on the community's perception of itself and serves as paradigm against which other examples of this genre (such as Pesher Nahum or Pesher Micah) are evaluated.

The King Jonathan mentioned in this text can be none other than Alexander Jannaeus, a monarch of the Hasmonean dynasty who ruled Judea from 103 to 76 B.C.E. The discovery of a prayer for the welfare of a Hasmonean king among the Qumran texts is unexpected because the community may have vehemently opposed the Hasmoneans. They even may have settled in the remote desert to avoid contact with the Hasmonean authorities and priesthood. If this is indeed a composition that clashes with Qumran views, it is a single occurrence among 600 non-biblical manuscripts. However, scholars are exploring the possibility that Jonathan-Jannaeus, unlike the other Hasmonean rulers, was favored by the Dead Sea community, at least during certain periods, and may explain the prayer's inclusion in the Dead Sea materials. This text is unique in that it can be clearly dated to the rule of King Jonathan. Three columns of script are preserved, one on the top and two below. The upper column (A) and the lower left (C) column are incomplete. The leather is torn along the lower third of the right margin. A tab of untanned leather, 2.9 by 2.9 cm, folds over the right edge above the tear. A leather thong, remains of which were found threaded through the middle of the leather tab on the right edge, probably tied the rolled-up scroll. The form of the tab--probably part of a fastening--seems to indicate that the extant text was at the beginning of the scroll, which was originally longer. Differences between the script of Column A and that of B and C could indicate that this manuscript is not the work of a single scribe. This small manuscript contains two distinct parts. The first, column A, presents fragments of a psalm of praise to God. The second, columns B and C, bear a prayer for the welfare of King Jonathan and his kingdom. In column A lines

This text is a commentary, or "pesher," on the prophetic biblical verses from the book of Hosea (2:8-14). The verse presented here refers to the relation of God, the husband, to Israel, the unfaithful wife. In the commentary, the unfaithful ones have been led astray by "the man of the lie." The document states that the affliction befalling those led astray is famine. Although this famine could be a metaphor, it may well be a reference to an actual drought cited in historical sources of that time.

The manuscript shown here is the larger of two unrelated fragments of the Hosea Commentary found in Cave 4. The script, which is identical to that of a commentary on Psalms, belongs to the rustic, semiformal type of the Herodian era.

English One of the most important apocryphic works of the Second Temple Period is Enoch. According to the biblical narrative (Genesis 5:21-24), Enoch lived only 365 years (far less than the other patriarchs in the period before the Flood). Enoch "walked with God; then he was no more for God took him." The original language of most of this work was, in all likelihood, Aramaic (an early Semitic language). Although the original version was lost in antiquity, portions of a Greek translation were discovered in Egypt and quotations were known from the Church Fathers. The discovery of the texts from Qumran Cave 4 has finally provided parts of the Aramaic original. In the fragment exhibited here, humankind is called on to observe how unchanging nature follows God's will. The Words of Moses (1Q22 [1QDM]) These fragments from Qumran belong to a kind of literature called the Testament or Farewell Discourse. A Testament represents the "last words" of a famous person in Israel to their descendants or followers. Testaments are a little bit like the modern "Last Will and Testament," except, instead of containing instructions for the distribution of money and assets, they give predictions of the future, warnings of dangers to come, and instructions on behavior. Many of these Testaments were actually written long after the biblical characters themselves had died, during what is often called the "Intertestamental" period. That was the period of time between the writing of the Hebrew scriptures (called by Christians the Old Testament) and the Christian New Testament. Some Testaments have come down to us from sources other than the Dead Sea Scrolls, in Ethiopic, Syriac, Greek, and Coptic translations. The Bible also contains some examples of "Last Words" or Testaments. For example, in Genesis 49, Jacob, who is about to die, calls all of his sons to him and pronounces blessings over them, blessings which also serve to some degree as predictions. 2 Samuel includes the "Last Words of David" in chapter 23 (see 2 Samuel 23:1). Jesus' words at the Last Supper in the Gospels might also be considered examples of the Testament or Farewell Discourse (see, for example, John 13:31b-17:26). In the Words of Moses, God commands Moses to interpret the law for the leaders of the community, and at the same time predicts that the people will fall away from the worship of God. Moses, in turn, commands Eleazar the priest, son of Aaron, and Joshua, son of Nun, to speak the words of the law.

Moses then goes on to order the people to choose for themselves men who can interpret the law for them, and himself repeats some of the laws. He warns them that they are to be very careful in obeying the law and keeping all of the precepts that they have been given. The content of the manuscript is heavily influenced by the biblical book of Deuteronomy, which is primarily a long speech by Moses to the people of Israel before they enter the land of Canaan. Deuteronomy itself reviews, quotes and reworks some of the material from Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers. The Words of Moses reworks material from Deuteronomy. This is not at all surprising, since much of the literature of this time (3rd century B.C.E. to 1st century C.E.) is based on older biblical texts. It was a common practice, as we can see from many of the Dead Sea Scrolls, to take passages from the Bible and rework them in some way for a particular religious purpose. The Words of Moses was perhaps intended to serve as a reminder to the people to obey the commandments given by God through Moses. A significant feature of the community was its calendar, which was based on a solar system of 364 days, unlike the common Jewish lunar calendar, which consisted of 354 days. The calendar played a weighty role in the schism of the community from the rest of Judaism, as the festivals and fast days of the group were ordinary work days for the mainstream community and vice versa. According to the calendar, the new year always began on a Wednesday, the day on which God created the heavenly bodies. The year consisted of fifty-two weeks, divided into four seasons of thirteen weeks each, and the festivals consistently fell on the same days of the week. It appears that these rosters were intended to provide the members of the "New Covenant" with a time-table for abstaining from important activities on the days before the dark phases of the moon's waning and eclipse (duqah). The Damascus Document is a collection of rules and instructions reflecting the practices of a sectarian community. It includes two elements. The first is an admonition that implores the congregation to remain faithful to the covenant of those who retreated from Judea to the "Land of Damascus." The second lists statutes dealing with vows and oaths, the tribunal, witnesses and judges, purification of water, Sabbath laws, and ritual cleanliness. The right-hand margin is incomplete. The left-hand margin was sewn to another piece of parchment, as evidenced by the remaining stitches. In 1896, noted Talmud scholar and educator Solomon Schechter discovered sectarian compositions which later were found to be medieval versions of the Damascus Document. Schechter's find in a synagogue storeroom near Cairo, almost fifty years before the Qumran discoveries, may be regarded as the true starting point of modern scroll research.
