First of all let me start by saying I love this blog. Secondly, concerning the article, what is your take on the 8 kings in Revelation 17? It says the antichrist is the 8th king, the beast itself and is similar to the other seven. It also says the 6th king is the same person/ kingdom? as the 8th king. Note that the scarlet beast which the whore(RCC) sits on is in its entirety the 8th king. Some say the 8 kings are the 8 popes(counting from the lateral treaty in 1929). Ive read that John received his vision during the reign of Pope John Paul who is the sixth king of the Vaticanand also the 8th king who would rise from the bottomless pit and go into perdition. If thats the case then the whore of Babylon and the scarlet beast are representing the same thing? This is the most confusing part of this wonderful prophecy. Reply

Thank God I was raised Protestant Presbyterian. My experience was very good here at Sunday school, as an escape from my childhood MKULTRA monarch abuse from the military and NAZIs in the California desert (China Lake.). Everyone was wonderful at church, and I was taught directly from the Bible. There were no fancy ceremonies or alters of gold and NO sexual abuse! If I had gone to Catholic school, my childhood would have been much worse. It was my only salvation. Reply

Interesting! I came out of that religion and it amazes me how long it took, considering what I know about it now. Glad to see your quotes from King James Bible! It is the only source of truth! Compare other versions and see how they take words or entire verses out. And of course the other versions are copyrighted, and in order to do that they had to be significantly changed! Yes its quite insidious how The Word has been diluted/perverted in some of the newer versions The older I get the more I realize much of lifes journey is about casting off LIES, weve been taught, by people we love and trust. The early church services were conducted in Latin (official language of the Vatican) which most parishioners didnt understand worshiping a God, whose ministers speak in language not understood by the listeners! We dont believe they would deliberately subject us to anything hurtful, and most are simply passing on what they know (customs/traditions). This is why its vital for the individual to seek truth for themselves.
