Exciting Family News On July 7th Marie and Jason Genua welcomed a baby girl, Kahlan Khaleesi Genua, into their family. She weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. Both mother and daughter are doing well. Kahlan is our sixth grandchild, just another exciting addition to our family. As her grandparents, we look forward to doing our best to spoil her as we do with all our grandchildren. Camden News This past month Camden received some help from Newark BFC and together we were able to replace a leaking section of the roof. We were able to get if finished before we had those 100 degree days in July. A recent church family visitor commented on how much the new roof enhanced the appearance. We are thankful for the improved appearance and no leaks. Our property committee is beginning to work on plans for the Sunday school classroom and fellowship area. This will provide a warm welcoming atmosphere for all who come and visit Camden BFC. It is always exciting to see individuals follow the Lords command of baptism. In March, we were able to see two youngsters take a step of faith and be baptized. Then in June we had two adults express their faith and they too were baptized. This was certainly encouraging to everyone at Camden. Pray that these individuals will continue to grow in their faith. . The Mission The Mission is the name for the daughter church from Newark that is beginning to meet in the Townsend, DE area. They have started renting a property but they need to get approvals from the county and state before they can meet there for public meetings. I (Raymond) have been working with Ron Smith to evaluate the property and meet with the state officials to determine what changes the property owner must make to the entrance in order receive approval in order to continue to rent the property.

Transportation Need Since coming to Delaware in 2002, I have been driving a 1991 Honda Civic. This has provided very dependable transportation. However, recently I have passed the 202,000 mileage mark and it is time to consider replacing this car with one with lower miles. To help us Church Extension has begun a CAR FUND. We need to raise $10,000 so that we can combine this with money we have set aside and purchase a used car that has a limited amount of mileage. If you or your church is able to help us raise this amount please send a check to Church Extension Ministry, P.O. Box 753, Whitehall, Pa. 18052 and clearly mark that it is for "Bertolet Car Fund." New Life BFC in Long Neck Since spring Louise and Anna Marie Smith have been working together planting flowers to provide a inviting appearance to all who come and visit.
