PREFACE
This Standard was prepared by the Association’s Committee for Mops under the
direction of the Textile Standards Board to supersede AS Z15-1961, Cotton mops.
This Standard differs from AS Z15 in that net mass of yarn is specified instead of
standard sizes.
It states requirements for all wet mops and sets out a means for specifying the mass
of yarn and percentage fibre type.
