TEACHING EXPERIENCE____________________________________________
Adult Education: Since entering the rabbinate in 1998, Ive been involved in adult education in a myriad of ways: Adult Education classes: Weekly classes given on a plethora of topics ranging fromTanach, to modern Halacha, Hashkafa, the Holidays and Kabbalah. Currently teaching tri-weekly in Rutherford, NJ. Have more than 300 Hebrew/English classes on file. Book study: Weekly discussion group reading materials addressing modern Jewish issues such as womens roles, meaningful prayer, defining modern orthodoxy, etc. Lunch and Learn, breakfast and study: Weekly ventures for learning and socializing. Outreach: By running Read Hebrew America, Crash Course in Judaism and Beginners minyanim, introduced Jewish thought and tradition to Jews and non-Jews across the country. Youth Education: Living in out of town communities, Ive made it a priority for our youth to receive a rich and meaningful Jewish education. Summer Kollel Director, Congregation Ohev Emeth, Highland Park, NJ, 2008 o Created learning program for yeshiva high school students Talmud Torah Director, Congregation Children of Israel, Youngstown, OH, 2004-2007 o Created curricula for high school youth attending public schools Teacher, Akiva Academy, Youngstown, OH, 2004-2006 o Developed syllabus and taught fifth and sixth grade day school students: Jewish holidays, lifecycles, parsha and led school plays Band Director: Initiated and taught youth bands in Youngstown and Indianapolis. The bands would perform for community Yom HaAtzmaut programs, 2006-2008 Teacher, Harry Elkin Midrasha: Rhode Island Bureau of Jewish Education, 2001-2003 o Taught public high school teenagers classes on the Prophets, Hashkafa and Ethics.

ADMINISTRATIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS_____________________________
Organized two community-wide interfaith events to promote Understanding and Unity in Rutherford, NJ after anti-Semitic attacks in January of 2012. Designed and established the first Rutherford Eruv, in 2010, coordinating with Verizon, PSE&G and town hall. Formed cross-denominational rabbinic band to unite the community in Youngstown, OH. Headed Kashrut supervision agencies in Indianapolis, IN and Providence, RI. Supervised the establishment of first kosher supermarket and assisted living residence in RI. Guided many in the conversions process including forming and heading a Beit Din for conversion in Providence, RI, 2003-2004. Initiated first community-wide events attended by all the orthodox synagogues in Providence, RI.
