03 | BIOCLIMATIC DESIGN STUDY FOR THE PUBLIC SPACE ARROUND LOUTRAKI CULTURAL CENTRE, GREECE
JUNE 2009 Both bioclimatic and architectural interventions were proposed, aimed at improving the thermal comfort of the public space and its functional integration in the urban fabric. The study includes cool paving materials, planting with bioclimatic criteria, use of green materials, protection from cold winds, shading constructions and water elements.

04 | BIOCLIMATIC DESIGN STUDY FOR A SCHOOL COMPLEX IN THE ISLAND OF RHODES, GREECE
FEBRURARY 2010 The study focuses on natural lighting and shading through classroom orientation, awnings, ensuring adequate natural light, designing skylights and avoiding glare. The design also provides transversal natural ventilation and cooling in almost all spaces. The courtyard was planted in such a way as to protect from cold winds and provide shading by deciduous trees.
