I agree, Marilyn! That is an incredibly precious video, the poor, great grandpa. At lease he got to spend

Attorneys always want their clients to keep their mouths shut. The attorney is the "mouth" -- that's his
job. Why should she talk at this point? Nearly every other 'player' in this case who has spoken, has been
ripped to shreds and has become perp fodder on every blog on Da InternetS! ;-p She's never going to

just kidding... thanks to all of you for being here from time to time to commiserate with... I have no
"human forms" to discuss this with. Im 40 and just got married exactly 3 months ago for the very first
time. If i had't found you guys i might be getting divorced for the very first time by now. Sometimes i

I just googled Cynthia Pleasea Anthony, and got several hits (including the link below to Gretawire)
that George and Cindy were both single parents when they met and married. George was formerly
married to a woman named Terri. I don't think Ciny was ever married before (wonder why?) This
means Lee and Casey have no blood relation. Also, it could explain why George always refers to
Caylee as "her daughter" and "the little girl." Cindy totally lied to the Grand Jury saying both Lee and
Casey were George's kids! Cindy lies whenever it suits her purposes.

Hmm... yah -- I think this is misinformation. Lee and Casey are brother and sister; both are the
product of Cindy & George. (*SURPRISE*! LOL!)
Why hasn't Cindy been married before she married George? She's only 50. If you do the math, it
makes sense. This is a woman who objected to Jesse G being *ON* the bed in her own home with her
daughter, with the door OPEN! (I'm just sayin'.... OMG!)
Casey is what, 22 or 23? Lee is what... 26? Cindy had her children young. She didn't have time to

for the disappearance of her daughter. We've heard various media sources submit BAD reporting,

Hello from Cancun, Mexico-----just want to remind you that there is another Carol here that has
nothing to do with me. My opinions on the subject just varies a bit. I dont know why am writing this -it
just seems to me that all this booze sun partying are just so far from everything that is going on in
Florida. Orlando being my hometown when am not living in England- before I left England to come

According to our local paper, the travel is to "key points of interest in the case". so I guess she is going
to drag her lawyer to all the places that don't exist, i.e Zenaida's apt. She should not be allowed to go
anywhere, she is just tired of the home restriction. If she has any "key" evidence she can Mapquest her
lawyer the info..
The longer this case goes on the more I wonder how it is that she expects anyone to think she isn't
implicit in this crime ! Are we supposed to believe that after all this time she is just now going to assist
her atty in finding evidence to find Caylee ? What could she possibly tell her atty now that wouldn't

When I first heard this, my immediate thought was that Jose wanted to get Casey alone, so she can do
what she does best (and that is NOT looking for Caylee). It may be a little hard to let Casey express her
"talents" in the Baez Law office, with other staff members present. I've never seen a lawyer hug his
client the way he hugs her. And she certainly piles on the makeup when going to his office.

Just a move on part of the defense to make her look like a concerned mother....IMO. Why now? Almost
4 months AFTER the fact. I feel all the gas cans played a major part in the disposal of little Caylee's
body. I know crematories are much higher in heat than a fire one could build, but it seems she was
intent on using alot of gas for SOMETHING...even having Amy take her to the store to buy one.
Wonder if Amy can tell us what ever became of that can??!! Just thoughts I ponder quite often...nothing
in stone here.

MT- many communities operate as a judicial circuit having a pool of attorneys who sign contractual
agreements upon acceptance to the local bar agreeing to provide indigent services. Usually they agree
to a term of anywhere from 3-7 years with 5 being the most widely accepted. This just means that
persons who cannot pay outright for an attorney are "assigned" one of these local attorneys from the
pool. The State is typically who picks up the tab in these circumstances.

search in order for the defense to try to establish some sort of case. They cant go into court for the trial

AS far as Casey threatening Padilla, I don't believe that she is stupid enough to do something like write
"when this is over I'm going to get them all and Padilla's first". That would be a direct violation of her
bail. Also, when Padilla just casually threw that in to a conversation on NG, three other people on the
show said for him to show proof of the email or facebook page, whatever it was, and he hasn't. If he
really had proof Casey did that he would have turned that over to LE, it further shows Casey's thought
process and ability to threaten violence.
I don't think there is anyway Strickland will let her out of jail, I know this judge and is not intimidated
by the media, LE or future appeals. He is an honest and brillant judge. There is nothing that she can do
to assist at this point that she can't do from her lawyers office. Make calls, search the internet let them
know places she has been etc., you can do it all from the privacy of your computer.
I also think that if there are "pictures" showing up now of Caylee with someone outside the family that
they are plants by the family and defense to further the I gave her to the sitter. I also wonder why there
hasn't been much said about two things, 1. She changed her story from I took her to the Nanny's apt and
haven't seen her since to I was at Blanchard Park (how convenient that its the one park that has been in
local news for over a year due to multiple attacks, rapes and the death of one female runner) and that
the Nanny and her sister Samantha stole Caylee and "threw" a set of instructions to Casey of how to
handle the media for 30 days. Where is that letter, any mother would have saved that as evidence in the
future. Why didn't Casey contact the police if the letter gave her instructions on what to say until the 30
days were over.
Also, and I know this is long, at the beginning of this story they said there was an ex boyfriend of
Caylee, who became a cop. That they hadn't been in contact for months and she called him. The story
was that he immediately took a four day trip to NY and when he came back he quit the force. I know
there is a cop who was fired for misleading the investigation in his relationship with Casey, but geez it
sounds like you couldn't throw a rock in this city and not hit a guy who "knew" Casey.

'script' other than from Padilla and Robert Dick's mouth? I haven't--but I've been out of the loop.
I hadn't heard anything about Jesse Grund going to New York (the cop you referenced that quit LE). I'm
aware that her (then) current boyfriend Tony, went to NY. I think the count is up to 4 (former?) police
officers that "knew" Casey. Grund, Rusciano, who are the other 2? Anyone?
Also, I'm still not over the confusion of dates though: 7th, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th---If Cindy & George
returned from their little trip on the 8th, how could she confuse the dates of the last time she saw her
grandchild. I know that people forget things and become confused under stress, but I still think this is
weird.

Futy-the two other police officers are Orlando Police Dept. officers. They never gave the names but did

I beleive you are right on this jo- I seem to remember Cindy saying (either in an interview she gave to
media or one of her statments to LE) that they had planned a vacation trip but because Casey kept
promising the hope of seeing Caylee "tomorrow" they never went except for just driving down to the

A grand jury will hear the evidence that the prosecution wants them to hear and nothing more. they will
vote and return a true bill or not a true bill- OR they could ask the prosecution to see and/or hear more
evidence, so it could actually drag on for several weeks before they vote on a bill. A grand jury
typically meets once a week every week for a 6 month term (depending on the jurisdiction) I am not
familiar with Orange County FL, but Tuesday is when our Grand Jury's meet here in the county I live
in. We can all imagine the evidence they will present and I would vote TRUE BILL.

To SE GeorgaGirl - the conversation was on NG at the very begginging of her first arrest, they have not
played it again yet, but they have rerun some of the conversations. In fact her face on TV during those
interviews reminds me of that man that killed the family and took two small children to the woods (WA
state) and killed one and did such sick things - I can't even go there.
What is really twisted is the white sunglasses are the same ones she wears going to jail and her attorny.
WOW What a loser. I would like to know how she spent her days waiting for boyfriends to come home.
I would like to know what she did with Caylee during the nights she spent at her boyfriends before she
killed her. She sure bought a lot of toilet paper according to NG's film from Target. It seems that she
knew she was not going to be around long when she used Amy's checkbook. As though she would not
have to face Amy again once she was found out. Man I just can't believe someone so young can lie and
steal like a seasoned vetern. The father of Casey still seems a mystery. The way the family has shut
itself off - seems like most of the problems have there roots behind THOSE doors.

There are a couple of questions bumbling around in my head. First, wasn't Jeff Hopkins supposed to be
the one who had a child that the infamous "Zeneida" was also babysitting ? In the interviews with him
there is no questions about his child or the babysitter, so I must have the wrong guy . anyone know who

I just watched the 1st bond hearing again, and you can see such contempt in Cindy's face and voice
language towards the cop and prosecutor. Every time they try to pin her down on dates she uses the
lack of sleep and food excuse. Also, she said that after Casey's graduation they went to a theme park,
Casey didn't grad from high school, its amazing that even under oath Cindy can't seem to deviate from
the "script" she wanted her life to be. And what in the hell was Casey doing all those times she was
texting Anthony and other friends that she couldn't play now because of work, seriously, what was she
doing. Partying was the most important thing to her so why lie about working late in the evening ?

manslaughter and goes to trial and for some reason she beats these charges can the police then go back

The fraud charges would be separate from the murder/manslaughter charge- and multiple fraud charges
have already been filed on her- that was why she was back in jail and re-bonded- she had to have
separate bond on the fraud issues/separate from the child neglect and lying to LE charges she was
originally arrested on. Those fraud charges are there to stay until she either goes before a jury on them
or pleads out before a judge- some kind of deal to avoid a trial, but I don't see Casey trying to avoid
some extra media attention-
ADDITIONALLY - regarding the Grand Jury
-the prosecutors office can present to the GRAND JURY as many times as they want or need to-or until
they get the bill returned that they are looking for. Double jeopardy does not go into play on any charge
until there has been a formal charge made against the individual that proceeds to trial and a petit jury
returns a verdict on. So if for instance the grand jury that hears the prosecutions evidence next week
does NOT return a TRUE BILL (which basically means that they vote yes, they believe there is enough
evidence to proceed to trail and likely get a guilty verdict on whatever the charge may be in a court of
law) The prosecutors office is in no way bound from letting a NEW grand jury panel be seated and then
represent either the same evidence or new evidence to this new panel seeking the True Bill again. Many
prosecutors also use the grand jury as both an investigative tool - they can supebona witnesses and put
them under oath-maybe getting something they DID NOT get before, and also as a bell weather, just to
test what this group of average citizens thinks about the evidence they have. They may go forward with
a formal charge or they may gather more evidence and represent -

Marie-you bring up good points and I agree with you 100% that Cindy is the reponsible one for how
Casey has behaved. I too think that she has been deceptive, manipulative and defensive from the very
onset of this- from the original call when cindy says "I have someone in my car who has Grand Theft" I
beleive she only made that staement in an attemt to manipulate Casey into telling her where Caylee
was- SHE NEVER intended to prosecute her or file formal charges- Cindy even refused to let LE look
over her credit card statements. She is exactly who Casey learned to LIE and MANUPILATE from.
I am not so sure about the chloroform though- I have thought that it may have been for Cindy but now
tend to think that it was probably more likely used in a clean up attempt - My Jury is still kind of out on
this one because we don't know those dates when those searces were made????

GranNaw, the only problem I see with using Chloroform as a clean up agent, is that there are many
more readily available agents (like bleach or Pine-sol.) What specifically is Chloroform used for? Short
term sedation. With a half-life of 1.5 hours, you could use it to incapacitate an adult. The half-life
wouldn't be long enough to sedate your child for the night. I think Casey had a plan saying that Cindy
was giving her the house. I also think Casey was carrying it around in the trunk to use at the
appropriate time, and it spilled. Maybe why she didn't want George to look in the trunk on June 24th.
George said she was surprised to see him that day, maybe she had planned to lie in wait for Cindy. I'm
sure she had a lot of rage after Cindy tried to strangle her. And I am so screwed if a forensic analysis is
ever done on my computer!!

GranNaw, I think George is putty in Casey's hands. He even told LE he lived in a house with 2
controlling women. He already tried to divorce Cindy and leave a couple of years ago. I think he would
breathe a sigh of relief to find his own bachelor pad.
Another motive for getting rid of Cindy is to avoid her wrath at finding out Caylee was gone. That is
one thing I think Casey said that was true - that she was "petrified, absolutely petrified of her mother's
reaction if anything happened to Caylee."

Carol, you may want to go back and review notes from when this all started...they are all archived at
the top of this page. I don't think anyone but Casey knew that Caylee was missing. She lied to everyone
about where Caylee was.
I don't feel, in my heart, that Casey will get away with this. I think she will pay for what she has done,
in some way.
I do know that if they can get a charge of Murder 1 on her, which is what I heard they are after, and
then if she is found not quilty, should they find the body...she can't be tried again, as this would be
double jeopardy. So therefore I would think that LE is going to back all of this up with some hard,
definitive evidence. I don't think they would risk her being found not quilty this early on, without a
body, unless they were pretty confident.

DATE CORRECTION - The date of the argument / Cindy strangle Casey event was the night of the
15th = after Cindy and the baby returned from seeing great gramps & gram- As for the stealing from
the fund I think Cindy had heard about it before June 15th and just didn't see the evidence of it until
June 15th- remember that Casey's birthday was back in March when the check was given to her for her
Birthday by the Grandmother. I bet they missed the funds probably by May at the latest and then had to
get copies, etc. I bet the 15th was the day when Cindy saw it in black and white and had to wonder
what kind of a monster she had raised that could sneak and steal from her elderly grandparents. I would
have tried to choke her too=but long before June 15th!

I'm waiting to see the outcome of the grand jury- I doubt that the prosecution will be able to present all
the witnesses that I have heard eluded to being called plus testimony from lab techs, dna analysts,
researchers, detectives, etc., all in one day. That is an awful lot of information to put before a panel in 6
hours or so (factor in breaks/lunch). You have to think to- a grand jury seats anywhere from 18-40 or so
people at a time, so this is a good size group and they get to ask questions if they want to. The grand
jury could be bound over into "special session" meaning that would reconvine Wed and maybe even
Thursday and Friday. It is not unheard of for that to happen in cases of this nature and that may be
partly why the prosecution pended this out to the last week this grand jury panel was to meet- about the
only way you can sequester a grand jury is to bind it into a special session. I doubt we will know much
before the end of the week.

Yes, Marie RN, something bothers me about the way Casey and her attorney act when you see them
together too. I don't for one minute put it past her to come on to him if she thinks it will gain her
anything. It's just not normal for an attorney to hug or touch his client the way he does Casey and that
is what makes me so curious as to what's going on there. And, every time you see him he has this silly
grin on his face like the cat that just swallowed the canary. Do we know if he is married? If I was his
wife I would tell him to keep his darn hands to himself. And, why does Casey need to spend so much
time in his office? I just don't think anything about their relationship is the norm.

I just want to interject something here, and let me start by saying that I believe Casey knows where, or
with who her daughter is. But I don't think its right to trash her and her family on the info we have
available, which is mostly media and "pieces" of docs and evidence from LE. By all accounts up to the
time Casey vanished Caylee was considered, by everyone around her a pretty decent and remember
very young single mother. There is something that we may never find out that set her off over a year
ago, rather it was losing her job, problems at home but something that started this chain of events. I
believe that her relationship with her mother was a huge issue in the household also. Remember that
even after his granddaughter has been missing George, according to testimony released, has described
his wife and daughter as "the 2 controlling bitches", pretty harsh for a statement to police that you
know is being documented.
I think everyone, and especially the media and those of us who have participated in the posting game of
pages and sites devoted to this case, need to be less hateful and judgemental. We need to remember that
we only hearing the sensationalized news that the media and LE wants us to hear. I am by no means
condoning anything else Casey has done, there is enough hard evidence already presented that she has
lied, stolen and been involved in her daughter's disappearance. But for the sake of everyone interested
in this case I think we need to stick to discussion of NEW INFORMATION and stop spreading hateful
misinformation.

Marilyn.. I live in California. NG is on at 8 Eastern, but in CA she is on at 5:00 PM. Not sure if you on
the same time as us but watch her at 5PM here. I have to comment on Cindy. I watch her and Casey.
They both act quite a bit alike. Neither seems to ever cry but they do get mad a lot. Also, they both
have the same facial features. Stoic I guess. I do think Cindy knows Casey did something bad. I have a
21 year old daughter. She too is quite a good liar. However I will never defend her if she did something
like this. She now has a 7 month old daughter. if she ever did not bring that baby home for 24 hours I
would hound her to death until she brought her home. Period. Or I would call the police. Personally, I
would not believe any story at all as to why she could not bring her home, if just for 5 minutes so I
could see her. They both, like Casey and Caylee, live at home with me. So there would be no 31 days.
There would be 1 day and she better be here or else! Also, what would have happened if Cindy would
not have overheard Casey telling Lee she had not seen her daughter for 31 days? Would she STILL be
missing? Casey never would have called the police if not for her mother finding out Caylee had be
missing. I do believe she never would have called the police if not for her mother calling them finally..
Sad. I cannot, as a grandmother and mother of 4, figure out Cindy and I have tried in my head. George
I think seems to of had enough even before any of this. I see them divorcing when this is all done, no
matter the outcome. Lee? I DO think he knows something he is not saying. However I would never
believe any person in this family had incest in their lives. I think Casey, years back, has ruined this
family. I think the mother tried to stand up for her and the dad was sick to death of it all. I DO feel for
Cindy in the fact that when/if she is forced to realize Caylee is gone, she will blame herself and she
might crack. I truly feel she has enabled Casey in her own way, yet like me, we are overwhelmed at
daughters not doing right by our grandchildren. We want them to be responsible parents, can see they
are not, but still try to make them accountable to their kids. I guess I am trying to say I feel for Cindy,
but don't understand many of her choices.

I also have a grand daughter (just 8 months younger than Caylee) she lived with me until just before
her 2nd Birthday when mommy & daddy married- but I can tell you as one of the primary caregivers
there were never 5 minutes in that 2 years when her whereabouts were not known. I can also tell you
that a child Caylee's age is beginning to talk an awful lot- they talk about everything- they tell you
everything- my grand daughter tells me about her day with Nana and tells me about where she went,
who she played with, what she cooked in her pretend kitchen-
I think there was something VERY WRONG in that household for those Granparents (who were
caregivers by their own admission) to have not personally known this Nanny. You know what it says to
me - It says they are lying and covering - it says they knew Casey wasn't working and they knew there
was no babysitter- There is just NO WAY a child Caylee's age was not talking her head off. Besides
that- Cindy seemed VERY involved in the caregiving of Caylee- Cindy would have known everything-
or at least she should have. I just think there is something very, very wrong with this whole picture.
And please don't think I am a "HATER" for what I have said- I feel very bad for George and Cindy- I
would never want to be in this position- but I can tell you for sure that if a child of mine where to put
me in this position- I would could never defend them- they would just have to go it on their own. JMO

GranNaw- I wouldn't put too much faith in that being where it originated. Padilla was on NG tonight
along with Tim Miller & nothing was said about this. Only that a child's dress was found in an area of
interest (ping sites/cell towers) that was similiar to one that Caylee had. Even that find is being checked
& may not be relevant. Sean Krause of the daily bs did a stroy today exposing somethings going on at

I will say this- I think there has been more evidence found than what we know about. I caught myself at
one point thinking that they had found some pretty solid evidence of a "dead Caylee" --- other than
what we have heard about in the media reports, and there were several things occurring in succession
that made me beleive that. I can say only one thing for sure - I don't know everything they have. I will
have to wait and see.

as for the dress i believe it was a mickey mouse dress size 6 like caylee wore and has been potographed
in it was also found in an area where the phone pings were i think they are very close to maybe finding
out what has happened.
i think caylee is going back to jail today and what makes me sick is that shes not a teenager anymore
shes a woman with a child and now needs to take responsibility for whatever has happened to her
daughter. her parents need to grow up alson send the daughter back to jail and maybe the inmates can
find out where that baby is. I really dont think coddling this cold selfish byt*h is the way to find out
where the little girl is. Obviously shes not telling mom and dad nor the police maybe lee helped her

FYI- news report from Orlando Sentinel at 3:51p Grand Jury returns Indictment:" the GJ returned an
indictment for a capital crime but did not name the defendant. the court will not name the defendant
until she is taken into custody. Its not clear where she is at this time". I read earlier that she left Bozo's
office at 3:35 with Cindy & has to be home at 4:00p due to home confinement rules. I'm looking
formard to Prime Time on HLN at 5p. If there's an arrest it will probably catch is live.

Jo..it's nice here today...actually over 80 degrees....and I do remember...you are in my brothers neck of
the woods.
I don't understand why anyone would plant something....but then again..I am not crazy either and I just
want to see justice done...either way and whatever has happened...I want to see justice done.
I know I am gonna get slammed for this....but today...I actually felt sorry for the entire Anthony
clan....Casey may be behind bars the rest of her life...no matter how this happened and what
happened...her mother and father may never get to actually touch her again. What if we find out that
this girl has some mental illness...which is highly possible with her past??!! I don't need to hear that
Caylee will never be touched again either....cause I know that's what some of you are thinking & I
agree. It was a good day in a way...but also sad. I, like everyone else, wanted her to be indicted, but

not hesitate I turned him in for what he did. I still cry about it, but he was not raised that way. I was

Ga Girl- I would not slam you for your feelings about the family because I feel very sad for them.
Especially George & how he must feel telling the GJ the truth about the car & his immediate reaction
to the smell. If you remember in the beginning of this case he stayed away from the media & I even
wondered about that. He knew that something bad had happened even then. But I don't understand
Cindy always blaming other people & treating Padilla & Tim Miller the way she has. I know she is in
pain but you don't throw everyone under the bus because of it. Tim Miller's daughter was killed by a
serial killer & he must relive it everytime he gets involved in a case like this. I think this is a sad day
for alot of reasons but I believe her arrest is justified. I don't understand how they can charge her with
1st degree murder & Manslaughter. Shouldn't it be one or the other?

FYI- NG is on now. Just heard them say that Casey Anthony changed cars while on her way home
today with Cindy. She got into a grey SUV when her mother stopped while under the interstate & LE
was following & pulled vehicle over. When I first heard she was arrested this afternoon I thought they
said Cindy stopped & she got into vehicle with LE. Thought maybe they planned that to avoid media
but media was following them too. They said they didn't know who was driving the Suv.

From what I heard, the SUV Casey got into was owned/driven by one of the bailbonds men that bailed
her out. The LE had been following them and when this happened arrested Casey at that point. She
WAS to turn herself in until this happened. Also and this is odd, it seems Cindy or Casey had said the
only time she could not be seen, meaning the overhead helicopters, was when they would drive under
the over passes. So, so odd to have Cindy stop under one and for Casey to get out and into another car.
Again from what I heard, this was not a planned stop.
And to comment on feeling sorry for the family, I do too. Not so much Cindy due to her actions as this
baby's grandmother, or Lee who I feel knows something, but I really feel and have from day one for
George. Can you just imagine how he is being treated in his own home tonight? I wish the family the
best, but I do feel Cindy knew more than she let on. Again, I am a mother and grandmother and no way
would a DAY go by without someone bringing my granddaugher home if just to satisfy me that she was
unharmed and safe. And not just a day. EVERY day she best be brought to show me she is fine. I mean
she lives her and she is never gone a day, but I cannot imagine not seeing her for 31 days as her home is
here. I also know all, including phone numbers, of anyone who watches her even for 2 hours. THAT is
the part about Cindy I cannot comprehend. I think by Lee's actions, he knows something that he too is
not saying. And shame on them all. This is about a 2 year old girl. I don't think she ever saw her 3rd
birthday. Dang it all but this is just so sad and so pointless! The grandparents would have taken over all
responsibiliy for this baby if Casey wanted out. Such a waste. An entire family ruined because of one
spoiled 22 year old. Yes she was a young single mother. So was I!! I had my oldest daughter on my
18th birthday. I wanted to party too. If I wanted to, all I had to do was ask my mom to watch my
daughter. So frustrating.. Sorry again for the ramble.

Cindy could be charged - tampering with wittness / obstruction by not providing information and
records LE asked for / Lee might could be charged with obstruction as well, some of it seems a stretch
with Lee but then I'm sure there is a lot that went down that hasn't been made public knowledge- my
money is on some obstruction charges for Cindy at least. I feel sorry for George more than I do her.
Initially my heart bled for Cindy, but the more it went on and the more she said, the more she did to
enable Casey- her seemingly terminal state of denial about the realities of the dog evidence, the air
samples, the dna hair banding-- no real nurse could "reasonably" ignore that stuff.... I feel bad for the
whole family that this daughter/sister brought this all on them- but they allowed it.

First, let me say that I do feel for this family. The whole thing is very tragic and so sad. None of their
lives will ever be the same again. I am a grandmother of a four year old little girl so I understand very
well just how much George and Cindy must be hurting. But, I'm sorry, I don't feel for Casey because
she has brought all of this on herself by all the bad choices she has made and she has taken her entire
family down with her. Sometimes when you live the kind of life Casey chose to live this is what
happens. I guess the best thing that can come from it is if other young people see what can happen and
make better choices. That being said, I agree with those of you who think maybe Cindy might be
charged with something too and I sort of think she should be. She is the wife of a former police officer
and if she knew that car trunk smelled like a dead body she also knew that those pants she washed did
too. Her tune changed about the time all the test results came in and I think that's when she knew
Caylee was gone and made the decision to push against the authorities rather than help them. We all
probably saw the interview video where she refused to give them her charge card records and told them
there was nothing on them. Then, why not show them to the police? And, one night when she was on
NG and called the police liars about the phone call records she was silent when NG asked her why she
didn't just release them if she had them and prove the authorities are lying. I know that Casey is her
daughter and she loves her as she should but when you know a crime has been committed you are
legally obligated to cooperate completely and not to go out of your way to mislead in any way you can.
And, I have a real problem with the ungrateful way Cindy has treated all of those who have spent so
much of their time and tried to help find Caylee and especially Tim of EquuSearch. He spends a ton of
money not to mention his time and all she has to say is that she will "never speak to him again". He
seemed so hurt when he was saying that on NG and I felt sorry for him. There was no reason that
searches for a live Caylee and a dead Caylee could not have taken place at the same time. They call that
covering all the bases. But, Cindy was so determined to believe a daughter (or at least protect her) who
had already proven her dishonesty that she was willing to live with the knowledge that her precious
granddaughter was probably out there somewhere rotting away in the elements and being eating by
animals until not much was left. I'm sorry but if I had to pick between my innocent grandchild and my
daughter who I knew as well as Cindy did I would choose my grandchild. I'm not sure what the
changing vehicles thing today was about but it doesn't quite sound on the up and up and so I'm
wondering if Cindy might have caused herself some trouble over that. If I understood right the police
were following them and arrested her after she changed vehicles. That makes me feel like they felt she
may have been making an effort to run or else why would they not have just allowed her to turn herself
in like it was planned? I don't know and it's just me wondering and I guess we'll find out more about
that soon. It's just a shame that such a beautiful little girl had to lose her life because of the very person
who should have loved her the most......her selfish mom.

It's been several weeks since I have signed on- computer problems and lots of work to do, but I have
been keeping up with posts the best I can.
First and foremost I want to say "ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME THEY RE-ARRESTED THAT MOM-
STER CASEY-
the last time I was on I was trying to say that there are just two things that I know for sure regarding
this case .
1. we do not know all the evidence the police have in this matter- we know alot, but I beleive that most
of the "leaks" we heard about have been very deliberate in nature for several reasons. Much is not
known and likely won't be until trial.
2. the truth will usually prevail -
and it seems as if some of it did yesterday- now we wait for the trial and hope that JUSTICE will
prevail. and hopefully Cindy will get her due in this as well- yesterday just shows that you cannot lie to
the police in an investigative procedure and it not come back to bite you in the ass!
unfortunatley xing is right in his comments above about the world we live in- we fear our comments
must be politically and socially correct, afraid to stand up on an issue for fear of what someone else
may think or say about it- we "tolerate" bad" behavior out of people many times when we shouldn't and
I will let that bring me to my last comment for the moment which is.........
I am glad to see that the rudeness out here has finially been addressed. I will admit that there were
times I just could hardly stand some of what I was reading as I was catching up on things - Rudness is
totally uncalled for- we are on an internet blog. If we all were of the same opinion about this matter, or
any other matter- we probably wouldn't even be here and the world would be a very boring place. We
are not all going to have the same opinion about Cindy or Casey or George or Lee or how LE has
handled various matters- Some people don't like to be wrong- I guess in truth none of us LIKE to be
wrong, but I personally (and I feel many other "posters" out here) have and will try to take things with
a grain of salt - and let it just roll off my back- Some people just HAVE to be right-they must have the

A healthy debate is a good debate, but personal attacks are ridiculous. IP's are logged and I can assure
you that the regulars posting here are NOT the Anthony's. (Seriously, do you think that Cindy was
blogging while she was "handed" Casey off under an overpass yesterday?)
I realize that tensions are running high since the indictment. We're all emotionally invested in this case.
But I will not ban anyone from joining in on the discussion. Believe it or not, I enjoy reading all the
different perspectives and opinions (especially when I do not agree with them, I think to myself: "How
could someone possibily think that?) With that said, I will delete comments as I see fit (Mr. Futy is
"cleaning house" shortly).
I try to pop in to read, but I've been insanely busy. I really do not have the time (nor does Mr. Futy) to
drop in and delete posts that are not related to the case. I think I've been fair and cool, taking my time
to archive previous comments, etc (I really respect the comments and I do not think they should be
"deleted," as there has been a lot of time & thought put into them. They're very valuable, IMO.

DRcuran, I have noticed that this blog tends to 'eat' some posts immediately - that is, they never get
posted in the first place. Technical problems are nothing new on the internet though...and frankly this
blog has far less bugs than World of Warcraft, which I was disconnected from due to bugs and glitches
no less than eight times while playing yesterday. :)
Futon, you do a great job on this blog...don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Not having time to do things
online is part of life for most people so don't worry about it. Reality is far more important than espace.
People will be people however and internet bickering seems impossible to avoid. I just hope it's mild
and the tea flows freely. :)

LL, I can assure you that any scenario or theory presented here will not affect those people (the
anthonys or their legal teams) or the outcome of this case. There are hundreds, maybe thousands of
blogs and forums like this one and I'm sure nothing new has been posted here. It's all been said,
theorized, postulated at one time or another. We can't hurt the anthonys any more than they can hurt us.
Law enforcement and the family and friends and legal representatives of the family also have far bigger
fish to fry than some random person on a blog's ramblings and theorizing.
Granted these are not *nice* thoughts - that casey willfully murdered her child, that she accidentally or
negligently killed her with drugs, that there could be incest in the family, that casey (obviously)
attempts to manipulate people and buy her way out of everything with fornication and her lawyer could
be her newest 'conquest', that cindy could be implicated in the case, that the mafia could be involved,
that child pornographers could be involved, that caylee may have died in a hot car through her mother's
ignorance while she partied, that aliens have abducted Caylee for research purposes....but they are all
*possible*. Ok maybe not the alien one, that was a joke. ;)
On the internet, *all* of the possibilities are eventually going to be thrown out for discussion. Like I
have said, it's the nature of human beings. We are curious and ask questions and wonder why. The
world would be bland, boring, far more dangerous, and very harsh otherwise. Respect the differences in
others, a world of clones would be a horrible place indeed.
I am confident that we all *want* baby alive. Even though it seems unlikely. So we are not that
different in *some* ways perhaps.

IMO---Baez, Cindy and Casey had lined up beforehand what they would do, IF Casey was Indicted.
and here are MY thoughts on this: Cindy was under the bridge, surrendering Casey to her bondsman,
who would turn her back over to the authorities, being he is the one who got her out of jail. The
bondsman was taking her back to jail (he surely was NOT "helping her get away"-as some have stated--
for God's sakes he would be out tons of money if she broke bail) and LE had to make a big to-do about
it and pulled him over, while he was in route to the jail.
Once again, IMO, this is one time that I feel we have the media trying to make a mountain out of a
mole hill, by saying she was trying to get-away. Now, if we sat back and asked ourselves this question
on other facts, they have misconstrued...I wonder what we would come up with. AND I am a firm
believer that Casey is where she belongs. I am just saying.

Nah, it's only when they are claimed as facts that theories can really be damaging. You can claim, for
instance that it's possible I'm a software pirate who spends most of her time chatting on forums and

Just throwing out mere *theories* and *discussions of possibilities* can't harm someone. If that were

possibilities as fact that things can get nasty. If presenting possibilities was illegal they'd shut down the

IMO - that is what he wants everyone to think. He is going to offer some other explainations for all
circumstantial evidence and he is hoping that everyone will buy it as a possibility. Decomposing body
could be a dead animal that was in the trunk or if the evidence shows that it was definitely human he
will say that somebody put some other body in that trunk while it was at the tow yard or in the AMscot
parking lot. Chloroform was used to clean the trunk by Mr. Anthony (or several chemicals that mixed
together to create chloroform) etc. etc.
That is what I think he is going to do. As for the computer - all he has to prove is that other people had
access to use it during the time that the searches where done. My computer at home is logged in all of
the time and anyone in the house can sit down and do a search under my profile.

I watched that MSNBC clip. I found it troubling when Cindy Anthony said that nothing will make her
believe that her daughter killed Caylee. The word "nothing" (and maybe the emphasis placed on the
word was in my mind) made me think that a body and all the evidence in the world would not change
Cindy's mind.
Also, I watched Nejame stutter and stumble for the first time last night when he was asked about his
clients taking a polygraph test. I was kind of surprised because he's seemed pretty cool and aloof
whenever I see him on TV.

Cindy also knows that the walls are closing in on her and Lee! They have evidence against both of
them that go beyond tampering with evidence. They have enough on those two and will be working out
a deal in the next week with them. Would it really surprise anyone if they found the body and have not
leaked it YET?? Baez is being replaced next week by another lady that works capital cases from what I
found out a little while ago. There will be no plea for Casey because there is a needle with her name on
it but the state will not say that as of this time. Soon though, very soon. Remember, they have so much
evidence that we do not yet know. And I say again, would we really be shocked if Tim found the body
in the past week?

Heh. No...because stating something as a *possible theory* is not the same as saying "I know this for a
fact." There's no harm, no foul in discussing possibilities. Stating that it's possible X happened is not
sitting in judgement either, it's discussing an issue. Sitting in judgement would be more like saying
things such as "some of you people are cruel and disgusting." It's when it gets to claiming theories and
possibilities as fact that things can get nasty. If presenting possibilities was illegal they'd shut down the
internet, take everyone's license to think and state their thoughts away and put everyone involved in
silly newrags like the national enquirer or the sun in jail.

Hi, Annie May, well put and I agree completely. Did you see NG tonight and hear LP say that there was
a trash bag found in Casey's car trunk that had pizza inside but had maggots and body fluids on the
outside of the bag? Wonder if that was presented to the GJ yesterday? I haven't heard that anywhere
else but from him tonight but most of the time what he says seems to turn out to be right. It sort of
surprises me sometimes about how many details he seems to know about the case. I started out not
caring much for him at first I guess because he bailed Casey out but the more I have seen him on TV
I've come to like him and think he is pretty credible and a nice guy.
Wonder when the trial will be? Do you think they will ask for the death penalty? Do you think it will be
on TV? You would think as well known a case as it is it will be. I know a lot of people will want to see
it including me. I belong to a Yahoo group where we are talking about this case and one of the girls on
there was joking with me last night and asked me if I realized that if it is televised she would have to
quit her job so she could watch it. :-) I'd say there will be a lot of us glued to our TVs if it's on there.
You know there must be other evidence that they haven't released yet and I'm pretty curious to find out
what it might be.
How's your teapot doing? :-) I meant to tell you before that I love tea too and drink a lot of it. Of
course, if I'm not mistaken you are in England aren't you and, if so, you're probably the Queen of tea

Re eye glasses---I wear contactl lenses-when I cry they get VERY un comfortable,and need to put on
my glasses instead-I think this is the reason for the glasses.I do believe that Casey had real tears,for
whatever reason,and I am sorry but I cannot hate her---I can hate what she MAY have done,but not hate
her. As far as Baez goes he keeps making statements such as when the truth comes out,or now I
understand---he has to know that people will REMEMBER this and his law career,will be over,if

Amen to that, Jo. Nancy Grace is a very intelligent and caring lady and I respect her very much and it
really bothers me to see someone disrespect her when she doesn't deserve it. She took a very bad event
in her life and turned it into good by becoming a prosecutor and trying to right some of the wrongs that
changed her life and changes all of our lives sometimes. She may add a little glitter to her show now
and then because that's just show business but nobody should let that fool them into thinking she does
not know what she is doing. She is a smart lady and she knows the law. And, my granny used to say the
exact same thing too...."practice what you preach". She also said to "treat others the way you want to be
treated" and most of the time I try to do that but when someone treats me badly or I see someone treat
someone else badly I normally throw that one out the window for a few minutes. :-)

With all due respect, Steve, that sounds bogus to me. Casey can't even take a shit without the media
being all over it (pardon the expression). Volunteers that showed up for the search (in the past)
discussed every piece of clothing--down to soiled G-string--on other blogs (despite the fact that they
signed a non-disclosure agreement or some fascimile thereof).
We know about the child's size 6 dress, about bird bones, about a freakin' ham bone...are you seriously
implying that they could cover up the discovery of human remains--without anyone saying a word?
You may be right, but I sincerely doubt this.

And then the pessimistic part of me wondered if she put hot sauce on her fingers and rubbed her eyes. I
think I was bothered by the fact that she seemed more concerned with her eye makeup (she kept

Sad Mom- He made that statement on Prime Time HLN yesterday when he was giving Mike Galanos
what for for some of this statements about the case. They played it again today because only a few
caught it! he said today he was taken out of context. Seems strange to me what other way can you take

Futy, yes, I saw her say that too. And, both George and Cindy said today that they still believe Caylee is
alive and they will keep searching for her. I completely understand how much they love Caylee and
how much they want her to be alive but I just can't understand how they can keep on ignoring all the
evidence. And, wouldn't you think they know much more than the public does? I mean it would thrill
me to no end for somebody to come driving up and hand Caylee to them but I just can't believe that she
is alive with all that I've heard and seen so far.
And, in case nobody has answered you yet about Tim, yes, he said on NG last night that they are
staying. He told Nancy that after the Grand Jury indictment and all the evidence he just couldn't leave.
He also said that he thinks it will be the largest search ever. I guess he meant because Casey has been
charged and more people can believe that there really is a body to be found out there somewhere. And,
I understand what you mean about Cindy but if they do find a body and DNA proves it's Caylee it will
shock me to no end if she won't even accept that. If Caylee is gone I do hope so much that they can find
her because that I think is probably the only hope for closure George and Cindy will have. Otherwise,
they will probably spend the rest of their lives searching for her and that is so sad.

A tipster called this in to LE in September. I couldn't understand why the tipster waited so long to
report this tip. I mean, if they live in the Orlando area, there's no way that they were unaware of the
case for 2 months.
The tip was discussed on NG last month (please don't ask me for a specific date, I think week 14?).
From my understanding, the person who called in the tip was a woman. For the life of me, I can't recall
why this tipster was out in that area. Don't quote me on this, but I thought they were letting their dogs
run around or something?
The description of "Casey" in the wooded area sounded a little strange to me. Supposedly, Casey was
wearing a halter top/bra-type shirt. We've seen this type of shirt in photographs of Casey on the pole in
the Fusian photos (which were already released at the time the tip came in). Also, the documents which
included the neighbor's interview (the guy with the shovel) were released at the time the tip came
through. If you recall, the neighbor states that Casey was wearing a bra-like halter top.
I guess I'm just wondering what the tipster actually saw. I believe that they saw someone, but I'm
wondering if it was like a 'power of suggestion.' What I mean is, this person waited until September to
report the sighting....news images flashed on their TV for two months, Geraldo, NG, Greta, tabloids,
etc...could have played a large role in creating a picturesque puzzle. You know, the image was blurry at
first, but 'the power of suggestion' tricked the mind into believing that they saw Casey Anthony in a bra
near the airport.

things, but I do find it strange that it wasn't reported until Sep. as for her coming out of the woods with
a shovel???? I don't think it could have been THE shovel - the one borrowed from the neighbor and

I wondered why George Anthony testified, but Lee did not. As far as the interviews went, Lee Anthony
was a lot more descriptive about the smell (in my opinion) than George. So, why didn't he testify?

Reasonablevoice, the pictures are shocking. If they weren't, you probably wouldn't have found your
way here. That's the point, get it? Normal women do not piss in parking lots in front of cameras. I
understand that people get drunk and do stupid things, but am I supposed to believe that she was drunk
and stupid when she added it her online photo account, too? Normal mothers that like to party do not
have imaginary friends/babysitter's, nor do they have imaginary jobs. Who said anything about Casey
Anthony having to act like the Beaver's mom? Plenty of young mothers enjoy hitting bars and clubs--
but they don't lose their children and fail to report them missing. To imply that she's just another 'young
mom' is an insult to young mothers that put their children first (in my opinion).
Grannaw, I originally thought that Caylee's dissapearance was money-motivated. I know it sounds sick
(but what doesn't in this case?), but I wondered if there was an insurance policy on the baby. I threw
this theory out the window months ago (no body = no money for the policy holder), but now I'm rolling
the theory around in my head again. I'll tell you why: The other night, Richard Grund was on NG. He
mentioned a theory that he shares with Rob Dick. They believe that there was a kidnapping hoax in the
works and something went really wrong. The problem I have with this, though, is that the baby would
have to be found in order to collect an insurance policy. On the other hand, if the baby were alive, the
faux kidnappers would have put a ransom on the baby. Who would have paid the ransom? George and
Cindy are broke. Casey knows that her parents are not in the position to pay big bucks (unless she
doesn't understand the concept of debt & a mortgage). I'm just wondering where Rob Dick and the Rev.
Grun are going with this theory....

Marilyn & GranNaw: I`m with you two...I can't, for the life of me, picture myself saying "Oh, it all
makes sense now." I just can't. The only "bombshell" that I could picture Jose Baez reaching for--is
something so dark & disturbing--that it would make her 'go over the edge' and kill her kid (I`d still call
BS). I can totally see Baez painting the household as a dysfunctional home (then he'll hold up the list of
calls placed to 911 within the last decade), he might imply that she was abused by a member of the
household and 'snapped,' when she couldn`t see a way out of her hopeless situation.
Also, I still haven`t ruled out the possibility that the father of Caylee is a family member (disgusting &
disturbing, but it does happen). I bring this up because if this WERE true, I could see an insanity
defense coming (I know nothing about the insanity plea, but I would think that something so screwed
up would be grounds for an insanity plea). `She couldn`t see the difference between right & wrong
anymore,`blah blah blah....
What really boggles me about the paternity of Caylee is this: if someone implied that my friend,
relative, neighbor--anyone I cared about--was a product of something so dark (incest) on national
television--I would go out of my way to show that claim was false. Clear that person`s name... No one
has come forward. Why! Someone had to impregnate Casey Anthony! Someone knows
something...Why hasn`t anyone come forward...

Also, I wish I understood exactly what happened with these gas cans. I was looking for this clip (thats
how I found the link above) and I finally found it. It`s the Greta clip with George & Cindy on the couch
talking about the gas cans. At present, George`s story is that Casey opened the trunk (he didnt see
inside the trunk) and she grabbed the gas cans. Shoving them towards him, she supposedly said `here`s
your fucking gas cans.` This is a much different story than George told over the summer. He said she
popped open the trunk and he saw the gas cans or, in his exact words, `and there were the gas cans.`
Forward to about 6:45 into the clip, hes talking about the gas cans (also note, around 6:50 how Cindy
forces all of her body weight onto George`s hand, which she is holding). I don`t know anything about
body language, but it just seemed weird. He also mentions that he has an extra key to the car in this
clip. Not implying anything, just throwing it out there again....it`s been a while.

assigned number ID to a text ID. Just because her account was created at a previous date, it doesn't
mean that it was set as "cayleeismissing" all this time. I do agree with most of your comments. They

GranNaw, I'm not a shrink, but I always suspected that she was a victim of some sort of abuse. Her
actions have lead me to believe this. I wrote like a page 1/2 comment about the george/casey abuse

Regarding pizza... Apparently there was of course pizza in the car. I DO remember hearing this and
wanting to gag. OK, there WAS a box of pizza. however, on TOP of the pizza box WAS the maggots.
Feeding NOT on the pizza, but gag here, on decomposing bodily fluids. Meaning, she laid the baby in
or on the bag and I would really think in the bag. Can you imagine as awful as this is, opening your
trunk to see your dead daughter looking at you? OK, no sleep tonight. However, the stench and
maggots came from the plastic bag that was on the pizza box. The tow truck driver threw the bag over a
fence, but the police DID recover it. That is where the "pizza comments and the stench come from"...
Off topic sort of, but I too have been an avid reader of this blog. I have been rather intimidated to post
as I have not wanted to have my comments, nor myself, be torn apart. We all have our comments and
views. If I wanted to be around feuding women I would go chat with my 20 year old daughter. I come
here to see other views, even if I don't agree there is no need to bash another poster, use foul language,
etc.
Let's face it. This case is both fascinating, sick and super sad. emotions will run the gament, but again
there is no need for the bashing and name calling. I have been reading for months, rarely post, but do
feel everyone's view is important. Gee, not like we will solve the case! We just all have valid opinions.
No one should be picked on or made to feel unwelcome over a blog site. really. This reminds me at
times of my 5 year old grandson. he goes through this at kindergarten.
Now, let's please all just give our views and stop with the bashing and foul language. I don't want
anyone to leave. I don't agree with all views, but I sure do enjoy reading them.
