June 1, 2012 Dear Members of the Community, Hello, my name is Michael Hollomon and I am the Director Of Theatre at R.

L Turner High School in Carrollton Texas. I am writing this letter on behalf of our 2,100 students, faculty members, and our community. Our Theatre Arts program has over 200 students who strive to create wonderful theatre that is socially impacting as well as entertaining. Unfortunately, the quality of shows for the next school year is in serious trouble. With major cuts in the district budget due to school refinance, we are forced to lose a majority of our budget. This situation causes our department and our kids to lose. Our hope is for the kids not to lose, but to win. That is why we are trying to gain corporate sponsorship for our theatre program. With a tax deductible sponsorship, I believe that both groups WILL WIN! With an exclusive sponsorship with one or all of productions your organization will be sure to have the gamut of advertising opportunities within our school and community. With advertising in our program which is received by our patrons, who could exceed 1,000 audience members per performance, our posters which we distribute in our community as well as cities outside of our district, and verbal recognition before every performance is a fantastic way to create a buzz about your organization. With the monetary support for our productions we can create better quality shows, which in turn will create a larger audience base for our productions. I have attached a chart of what each sponsorship level that you can take advantage of. In addition, please note that you can also become an individual sponsor, which is at the lower end to make things more manageable for a smaller business. Besides supporting the arts in the community and your local school, you will get these great benefits: Advertising up to 1000 patrons per show.

Shakespeare's most famous love story, Romeo and Juliet, has never been so captivating, or so dangerous, as in this stirring new production brought to the R.L Turner Black Box Theater October 12,13, and 18, 19, and 20th. As tensions build in the streets of Verona, two teenagers from the warring Capulet and Montague factions fall in love at first sight. Married in secret, they hope for reconciliation between their families. However, when short tempers lead to deadly consequences, the young lovers find themselves alone and on the run. What starts as a bawdy teenage comedy quickly transforms into a heart-stirring romance for the ages.

Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie and all of the Whos of Whoville! These classic, colorful tales are seamlessly brought together by Jojo, a young boy and "thinker of strange and wonderful thinks"! The score emerges as a Seussian gumbo of musical styles, ranging from Latin to pop, swing to gospel, and R&B to funk! Basic sponsorship: $500.00 This 15 year tradition brings out the creativity and imagination of our senior Theatre students as they direct a series of one-act plays that run the gamut of emotion. From contemporary comedies to classic drama, these one-act plays will have the audience wanting more.
