September 10, 2012 Operation Count US In Dear Senator, I emailed you yesterday about the Pentagon inspector generals

report stating that investigators had been unable to contact voting-assistance offices at more than half of the militarys 229 bases worldwide. As a result, and ask you know, 6 Republican senators sent a letter to Secretary of Defense Panetta telling him that Pentagon officials are ignoring the 2009 law that ordered the military to set up special voting-assistance offices at EVERY military base around the world, to make sure troops get assistance navigating all the different states' registration and absentee voting requirements to make sure their ballots are mailed in time. As a follow up to my initial post on Facebook and other social media outlets, I have initiated a grass roots campaign: Operation: Count Us In.
