PREFACE
After completion of two semesters of MBA from IPEM Ghaziabad, I joined SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd. for my summer internship project for the duration of 8 weeks. Where I was expected to report Mr. Sachin Jaju who was my project guide from the company. The topic of my project was MARKETING AND SELLING OF ULIP In this I have to do some marketing and selling, I went to different places in ALLAHABAD and met different peoples through personal contacts , data provided by my mentor , Tele calling etc. SELLING an insurance PRODUCT was really a challenging task to do. It was totally different from a market survey I can say its a combination of marketing and HR. During this project I got some real time experience of the industry what the industry is all about and how it runs and I got to know that insurance is mainly based on marketing, selling and fulfillment of promises. It was really a very nice experience for me and many more things I learned during this project like communication skills and how to be patient during tough situations. I thank my whole faculty for giving me this opportunity.
