The Colors of Autumn Sunday, September 23, 2012, 10:00am - 12:30pm Location: West Falls Park West Falls Focus: A leisurely hike through mature hardwood forests and along the west branch of Cazenovia Creek with a focus on seasonal happenings in the plant and animal worlds. Fees: Members $7.00 / Non-members $10.00 The Autumn Harvest Saturday, October 13, 2012, 10:00am - 1:00pm Location: Buffalo Ski Club Focus: Exploring fields, forests and wetlands in search of wild edible foods to be followed by a hearty wildbased soup at the end of the program. Fees: Earth Spirit and Buffalo Ski Club Members Free / Non-members: $7.00 Winter Preparations Saturday, October 27, 2012, 10:00am - 1:00pm Location: Chaffee Wildlife Preserve - Chaffee Focus: A brief session with a wildlife collection focused upon seasonal adaptations followed by a forest hike involving plant and animal preparations for Winter. Fees: Free (supported by Waste Management of Chaffee).

Adventure Hike 1 Saturday, November 3, 2012, 10:00am - 1:00pm Location: Franklin Gulf Preserve - Eden Focus: A moderately challenging hike through forests and along creeks with a focus upon season nature happenings. Fees: Members $7.00 / Non-members $10.00 Adventure Hike 2 Saturday, November 17, 2012, 10:00am - 1:00pm Location: Beaver Island State Park Grand Island Focus: A leisurely hike along wetlands and the Niagara River with a special focus on field ornithology. Fees: Members $7.00 / Non-members $10.00 Herbal Remedies for Winter Saturday, December 1, 2012, 10:00am - 12:30pm Location: Yates Park Orchard Park Focus: Includes an indoor presentation on the art and science of herbal medicine with the Earth Spirit travelling medicine show to be followed by a session of preparing a variety of herbal remedies with the participants. Fees: Members $8.00 / Non-members $12.00

Earth Spirits services are designed to reach a large audience and we would be delighted to work with your organization or community group. We offer a wide range of topics and experiences designed to broaden our understanding of the natural world plus our connectedness and responsibility to it. Programs are conducted at Earth Spirit field centers, your facility or any other prearranged location. Our instructors are available year-round for half-day, full-day or evening programs.
