Gujarat Board Physics Sample Papers GSEB is the medium of understanding a students competitiveness in field of Physics by means of a written exam held annually. The students who have opted Physics as a subject in the 12th grade have to sit for a centralized exam. The exam is held in Gujarati, but students can chose an alternative language for the writing the exam. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and is worth a maximum of 100 marks. The question paper is divided in 4 different sections. Section A consists of 16 multiple choice questions, with each question having four options. Students have to select the correct solution from the options available. Each correct answer is worth 1 mark. Section B consists of questions to be answered briefly. This section has 16 questions. Each answer is worth 1 mark. The questions should be answered in short. Section C consists of 16 questions. Each correct answer is worth 2 marks. Answers should be short and to the point. Section D consists of 12 questions. Each question carries 3 marks. Students need to solve them correctly to fetch the desired marks. This section marks the end of the exam. 1. What is the maximum kinetic energy of the photo electrons emitted? 7. Two nuclei have mass numbers in the ratio 1:8. What is the ratio of their nuclear radii? 8. Give the logic symbol of NOR gate. 9. Draw three equipotential surfaces corresponding to a field that uniformly increases in magnitude but remains constant along Z direction. How are these surfaces different from that of a constant electric field along Z direction? 10. Define electric flux. Write its SI unit. A charge q is enclosed by a spherical surface of radius R. If the radius is reduced to half, how would the electric flux through the surface change?
