Greater Spokane Action, a collaboration of labor unions, non-profit political organizations, and Political Action Committees has come together to endorse and support a slate of statewide and local candidates and ballot measures. Greater Spokane Action is a network of progressive organizations and leaders working together to create systemic change in our community through political action.
Each of our organizations could work on our own to support candidates, but by working together we are combining our resources and increasing our collective capacity to elect progressive champions that care about education, families, job creation and the quality of life in Eastern Washington, said Bev Schaefer, Council President of the Washington Education Association Eastern Washington.
Greater Spokane Action is working with partners to recruit volunteers to participate in phone banks and canvasses this fall to talk with voters about their endorsed candidates.
