PREFACE
Practical training is one of the parts of study of management for getting theoretical and practical knowledge. Such training is most helpful for augmenting the skill, ability and capacity of the students. Today the world has becomes more competitive and full of struggle for human being. In the present time, to get job, the practical knowledge is as important as the theoretical knowledge. Hence the study of management is very important and useful. I am studying in the first year of B.B.A. program, and in the first year, I have one day training of Moti Laminates Pvt. Ltd. and this is the project report of the same training, what I have learn in practically. I have prepared the project report of the Moti Laminates Pvt. Ltd. according to my thoughts, ideas and understanding.

2.1 INTRODUCTION
Production means creation of utilities & energy to satisfy the wants of people. Production Department covers all the activities of Procurement & Utilization of resources such as labors Energy, Material, Equipment & Machines etc. Production is the basic function of the firm as output. There are so many products produce by Moti Laminates so it is full of Intelligent & hard working workers. The Production Department is a combination of the four factors Land, Labor, Capital & Entrepreneur.

2.3 RAW MATERIALS


1.) Design paper is purchased from Shalimar Printer, Ahmedabad & Shriram Printer, Ahmedabad. 2.) Running design is done by self printing press. Rate of design is 1 kg. Rs. 40 to Rs. 50 depends on quality of paper. 3.) Craft :- How much thickness needed? Per Kg. Rs. 15 to Rs. 50. 300 Kg. To 500 Kg. = 1 role Craft is purchased from Belapur, Bhadra Chalam, Saurastra, Anand, Padamji. 4.) Chemicals are purchased from Baroda, GSFC. 5.) Melamine is the main raw material for design. 6.) Formalide is used to stick Phenol, methanol, ethanol, urea.

2.4 DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS


(1) REWINDING DEPARTMENT :
According to the order of party design are made.

(2) DRYER
The design rewinded is implacement on the dryer.

(3) COOLING CENTRE (Air Conditioner)


To avoid stick ness of design AC is necessary. Capacity of AC 60*60 size & 15 tone.

(4) PRESS DEPARTMENT


For making sheets 8 delite piece, 1 delight, 6 balls. (1) For heating & streaming process stream boiler is used. (2) Temperature required is 16 C. for 40 minutes (3) Cooling process of 35 minutes by cooling tower, cooling tower is of 10*10 (4) The temperature must be 40 at the lowest.

(5) CUTTING DEPARTMENT


Board of 8.15 * 4.15 is converted into 8 * 15 sheet.

(6) SENTING DEPARTMENT


This process is necessary for favicol sticking

(7) ASSORTING DEPARTMENT


Party wise sheet is assorted in this department

(8) PACKING DEPARTMENT

Until the goods are dispatched, they are kept in board security office.

(10) LABORATORY DEPARTMENT


Boiling test 24 hrs. at 150 temperature. If any damage is found sheet is rejected & put as a second sheet.

Matt finish, wood touch, finish, glossy finish, chiffon.

2.6 NAME OF MACHINE


Drier Machine is used to dry the sheet. Press machine is used to press the design on craft Capacity of machine is 2500 pieces Installation 2000 pieces - Utilized Cutting machine is used to cut the material.

3.1 INTRODUCTION
Introduction of marketing function is very vital function in any industry. To earn high profit every company has to handle its marketing function with care. The whole world is turning in to a global market; marketing function is getting more and more important in every company. The term marketing is changing in the world. Now selling product by advertising, it is not only the function of marketing, but in this new on satisfying customer need is the market does a good job understanding customers needs, develop the product that provide superior value and price, distributes and promotes them effectively these products will sell very easily.

3.2 PRICING POLICY


Price is always considered first. When people purchased any product from the market price must be as compared to its quality. Any product having higher price & law quantity cant survive in the market for long time. Moti Laminates Pvt. Ltd. has also its own pricing policy. First of all they receives raw material so charges of the raw material are considered & then it includes production cost as consumption of labors electricity is there & variable cost is allowed to be considered. Finished products go to retailers & they also include their commission & profit margin.

3.3 ADVERTISEMENT
Generally, the Moti Laminates Pvt. Ltd. is used to advertise its product by Kitchen, Pen, Pocket, Wall clock, Calendar etc.

In market, customer always prefers that the products are easily available at a time when they required. To make better availability of the products, a firm must have better distribution channel. For higher selling of any products, it is very essential for the firm to make their channel of Distribution stronger. The network of this company is available in Gujarat, Delhi, Bombay, Madras, Nepal, and Kochi. So this network is very big and so we can see that this company contains good position in all over the India. The unit sale its majority product in Delhi & Bombay. There are about 25 to 30 distributors are connected with Moti Laminates Pvt. Ltd. in all over the India.

4.1 INTRODUCTION
The Human Resources management is a very important function of any organization as it deals with managing people, which are the most valuable Resource of any organization. For the efficient working of any organization adequate support has to

be given to the different requirements of its employees, proper satisfaction and also the training needs.

4.2 No. of Workers


There are 200 workers working in the organization. The workers are distributed by three ways. Their distribution is as under: Skilled worker, Unskilled worker, Permanent Employee, Fitter, Wireman, Store man.

4.3 WAGES & SALARY


There is no particular trend of wages & salary administration in the unit. But the top-level management determines the salary to supervisor Rs. 2,500 & for Manager the salary is between Rs. 9000 to 12,000 per month. The Skilled workers get Rs. 225 & Unskilled workers get Rs. 70 on daily basis.

4.4 POINTS OF FOLLOW FOR SAFTY IN THE FACTORY


(1) Wearing safety shoes inside the factory. (2) Wearing cotton gloves while handling hot plates/ goods. (3) Wearing masks during Cleaning & cutting.

(4) Wearing rubber gloves while handling resin created papers.

4.5 LEAVE PROCEDURE

4.6 FACILITIES TO WORKERS


The unit provides medical security to the workers. The employees benefits and services refer to the incentives, which are provided to the employees. So that they are encouraged and motivated. T h e m a n a g e m e n t o f t h e c o m p a n y i s a l w a y s taking care for employees benefits and services. They try to satisfy employees needs by providing following extra facilities.

4.7 TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT:


By such training and development program employee feel that the organization cares for them and they try to contributes the organization will benefits by having competent and dedicated employees.

Form overall points of view the ability to produce goods e f f i c i e n t l y a n d c h e a p l y , d e p e n d s u p o n t h e q u a l i f i e d a n d w e l l -t r a i n e d employees. For efficient working and continuity of the quality work e a c h a n d e v e ry e m p l o y e e n e e d s t r a i n i n g .

4.8 PROMOTION & TRANSFER


Promotion is necessary because it is recognition of a job well done by the employee. A device to retain and reward an employee for his year service to the organization to increase individual and organization. Company also takes in the mind factors like performance, capability of work done, work accuracy and experiment of employees in high moral sincerity employees reduction in cost training. Transfer is the movement of employees from one job to another without involving any substantial change in his duties, responsibilities; require skills, status and compensation. In this company in cases employees are transferred from one job to another job.

Finance is the activity which is concern with planning a controlling the firm financial resources. Moreover financial management means rising of more funds at the minimum cost & using them effectively in the business. The financial management is concern with the financial manager plays dynamic role in modern companys

development. Now-a-days, in any field we see competition so every Organization must have to build its storage financial position in the market. To expand the business & to reduce the financial problems, every Organization tries to make good financial policy.

CONCLUSION

Moti Laminates Pvt. Ltd. has very bright future because of good management, department, some of skilled & educated workers, and good experienced persons. In my opinion, Moti Laminates Pvt. Ltd. has wide scope of growing its business. This company has good management who has provided me best useful information, which is very necessary for preparing the project report. In present its target increasing every year the executive of the company provided as with all necessary and variable information. The company has an efficient management and good co-ordination between departments. The employees working in the company are very much training and these motives the employees to work for the company whole heartily.
