Objective
Objective is to establish procedure to guide end users on scanning the
signatures.
Scope
The scope of this document is to guide Field support and end user in operating
the software for scanning the signatures.

1) Setting Default Path for saving scanned

Signature files.

1] Open Sign Cap 6.1.2


2] Please put your Login Credentials here.

3) Select the storage path C:\signcap and
subsequently click on Set default tab.

2) Setting Scan Parameters and Scanning
Signatures (Standard Signature).

1) Click on Scan Parameters Tab.
2) Select parameters given below :

3) Click on Select TWAIN Scanner; you will be
prompt with below screen.

4) Select the scanner name .It will again navigate
you to the previous screen; here click on
Apply, Save Settings and Close tabs. It
will take you to the main screen.


5) Enter the File name and click on Proceed to go
to the next screen.

6) Bring the cursor in Serial no. Field and press
enter.

7) Enter Sol_id in service outlet code field and
put correct account number and Press F6 to
proceed further.

8) Select parameter Custom Settings and Click on
Link Adjust the quality of the Scanned
Picture you will be prompt with below screen.

9) Select Resolution DPI: 75 and Picture Type as
shown in the above picture and click on OK. It
will again take you to previous screen.
10) View the preview of the signature card
inserted in to the scanner and subsequently
click on Scan Tab. Below screen will be
displayed.

11) Select the signature and do right click and click
on Crop.
12) Enter the Signature description and press F10 to
save the signature.

3) Setting Scan Parameters and Scanning
Signatures (For Thumb Impression with
Photo).

1) Click on Scan Parameters Tab.
2) Select parameters given below :

3) Follow the same steps from 3 to 8 as explained
previously for standard signatures.
4) Select Resolution DPI: 75 and Picture Type as
shown in the below picture and click on OK. It
will again take you to previous screen.



5) Follow the same steps 10, 11 and 12 as
explained previously.
