CLEARWATER CORPORATE FINANCE LLP JOB DESCRIPTION - ANALYST

BUSINESS & FIRM DEVELOPMENT Assume responsibility as a key person within the firm for those sectors (your Relevant Sectors) as agreed from time to time. Agree, with the sector team / Partner, and then carry out any specific tasks required for the Relevant Sector e.g. monthly sector e-mails / newsletters. Seek to create off-market transactions by using sector knowledge and third party contacts to identify non-mandated opportunities Enhance the firm's Private Equity relationships through on-going contact and ability to contribute to portfolio reviews Provide timely and helpful contributions in respect of Ad hoc requests for buyer or target ideas for DO meetings, including attending certain DO meetings when appropriate Identify and arrange key Acquisition Criteria meetings which should be attended by relevant sector Partners or Deal Leaders Positively reinforce the reputation of the firm through sound professional execution of all duties Suggests creative ideas for Sector development e.g. producing relevant trade press articles, attendance / presentation at seminars, etc. Attend IMAP conferences when appropriate - this is likely to include overseas travel and staying away for a number of days

Agree with the Partner / Deal Leader the scope of research / analysis required for each prospective client mandate Prepare Potential Buyer content for the pitch document or a separate document such as an Illustrative MPA (Market & Purchaser Analysis reports) Effective liaison with Clearwater personnel and IMAP Partners in order to ensure all client documents have been thoroughly researched Prepare comparable transaction analysis to support Valuation discussions and Fee negotiations Attend and contribute strongly on pitches to potential clients showing knowledge of sector and of the players in that sector Develop relationships with listed businesses and large corporates to establish acquisition criteria and potential disposal mandates including representing the firm at meetings and keeping in touch via email/telephone They have 3 partners in the sector & 1 specialist analyst ,all with specialist knowledge in both hard & soft services(Business process outsourcing, consultancy ,facilities management & technical services in waste,energy,property ,construction & recruitment Deal size varies between 10-200m (average deal 20-60m) & they average 30 deal per year . They offer sector specialism which is unusual at this level. They are linked to the IMAP group which gives them a global footprint & means that 80% of deals are cross border international. The successful candidate will be analytically strong,intelligent,numerate with good client facing skills(command respect of a room) . The main aspects of the role will be to produce in depth research & valuation work on prospective clients & then working closely with overseas partners to help find buyers for CCF assets. Also to map M&A corporates & help develop partnerships with them. The role is available due to an internal move . My client actively encourage promotion from within & the opportunity will exist to develop to senior analyst which offers a myriad of career opportunities & significant salary increase( pay up to 100% bonus) recently an individual that started as a research analyst was made a partner of the firm . They have 60 staff so all get heavily involved in work & develop deep sector knowledge Can be based in Manchester preferably or London salary 35-45k basic
