GREATNESS
IS NOT ABOUT ACCOMPLISHMENTS, ACHIEVEMENTS AND WEALTH BUT UNDERSTANDING THE GREATNESS OF WHO AND WHY YOU ARE CREATED FOR

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16 NIV)

OF ALL

A. THE GREATEST PERSON: JESUS CHRIST

I am an historian, I am not a believer, but I must confess as a historian that this penniless preacher from Nazareth is irrevocably the very center of history. Jesus Christ is easily the most dominant gure in all history.-Herbert George Wells - (Novelist, Teacher, Historian, Journalist)
The Greatness of Jesus
Jesus of Nazareth, without money and arms, conquered millions more than that of Alexander the Great, Caesar, Mohammed, and Napoleon; without science and learning, he shed more light on things human and divine than all philosophers and scholars combined; without the eloquence of school, he spoke such words of life as were never spoken before or since, and produced effects which lie beyond the reach of orator or poet; without writing a single line, he set more pens in motion, and furnished themes for more sermons, orations, discussions, learned volumes, works of art, and songs of praise than the whole army of great men of ancient and modern times. Philip Schaff Its either you deny him or accept Him (German-educated Protestant theologian and a Church historian -Wikipedia) Jesus is the God whom we can approach T h e b e l i e v e r s a n d n o n b e l i e v e r s without pride and before whom we can humble acknowledge the greatness of this man. His ourselves without despair. Blaise Pascal inuence and impact to humanity numbers in (go to page 2) billions and still counting. The only man who died in shame so that those who will believe on him will become great. Kings and leaders tried to destroy and eradicate the movement he started and the institution - the Church he established. But everyone of them failed. You may not read the bible but you will always nd his teachings and values taught in every educational institutions. How would you describe the greatness of Jesus? Words and phrases are not enough nor to put it in writings and become books. You may not like him or believe in him but His greatness, his inuence, his impact and popularity is so huge that you dont have any choice but to acknowledge it.

Jesus became great by doing the most humiliating thing a man can do for humanity The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my lifeonly to take it up again (John 10:17 NIV)

ONE WITH THE ONE

As a child I received instruction both in the Bible and in the Talmud. I am a Jew, but I am enthralled by the luminous gure of the Nazarene....No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is lled with such life. --Albert Einstein Despite our efforts to keep him out, God intrudes. The life of Jesus is bracketed by two impossibilities: "a virgin's womb and an empty tomb". Jesus entered our world through a door marked,"No Entrance" and left through a door marked "No Exit." --Peter Larson (Paleontologist) Jesus Christ: The meeting place of eternity and time, the blending of deity and humanity, the junction of heaven and earth Anonymous Jesus never been apologetic on his claim of who he is. He never tried to prove it nor convinced people to accept who he was. He simply state the importance of believing in him. I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am [the one I claim to be], you will indeed die in your sins. (John 8:24 NIV) His teachings, His miracles, His works, His life, His followers are testimonies itself to what he claimed to be. To believe or deny him will not add to his value nor diminish his greatness. It is an opportunity for those who want to have a personal relationship with the greatest person who ever lived. An opportunity to live a life of greatness and not in sin, sin that reduced us to rubbish and make us live and die without meaning.

ngerprints all over my story - Jeremy Lin New York Knicks The most important thing as a leader is your relationship with God. - Manny Pacquiao Many people mistake our work for our vocation. Our vocation is the love of Jesus. - Mother Teresa People who made marks in the history followed and believed on someone who was also great prior to them. Imitating and having faith in someone makes greatness easier to achieve. This is because they just have to follow the footprints those great people left. They were inspired, they believed and they copy or even surpassed the greatness of those they followed. Given a choice to whom I should follow and believe in, I will put my faith and lifes purpose to the one who became the greatest person who ever lived. The one who promised us even greater that what he did. I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. (John 14:12 NIV) We have seen people like Nick Vujicic and Bethany Hamilton who, despite their disabilities and adversities found greatness, not on what they cannot do but to whom they entrust their lives on. Finding a higher purpose in life makes a person great not just because on what they have and what they can do,but it also allows their lives to be used by the greatest person of all time - Jesus. God who created us for a purpose, a purpose that was planned even before creation of heaven and earth. A plan that Greatness start by becoming one with have been initiated and continuously being fullled throughout the whole earth. People may Jesus not know it, we may participate or not but our All these people, all these things came into Great God with a great plan, will accomplish it my life, and theyre all blessings from God. And through the greatest person - Jesus and through now that I look back, I realize that these are His

GREATNESS IS THE DISCOVERY OF YOU PURPOSE IN CHRIST

The greatest failure you may do is when you spend your entire life to achieve greatness but miss out the real intention of why you are created for. People who achieved greatness have commonality - they have a higher purpose. Believing they are living according to what God called them to do
