HOMEOPATHIC IMMUNISATION (or Homeoprophylaxis)

The basis of the program contained in this leaflet has been used over a period of some 15 years by Isaac Golden, an Australian homeopath, who has made immunisation his specialty. Clinical trials and research have been undertaken and show antibodies are produced against the r e qu i r ed d is ea se s b y t he administration of homeopathic remedies. This form of immunisation is suggested for those parents who have made a firm decision not to vaccinate their children but would like to employ a safe alternative method of protection. Under the updated 2004 version of the program, some immunisations have been removed as they are considered mild in healthy children. Less is more in homeopathy and we want the child to develop a healthy immune system naturally, rather than using these powerful remedies unnecessarily. You can however tailor the program to fit your needs and add in other diseases you wish to protect

against by purchasing remedies separately.

The program is flexible. If you start late, give the remedies in the order shown, one remedy every month, until you have caught up with the ages of administration in the Program. No method of protection can ever be 100% guaranteed, but if your child is exposed to a definite source of infection, and you are concerned about their exposure to a potentially high risk illness, ho meopath ic re medie s a re available to provide protection against the illness. Ring me and I will advise the best course of action. What if Ive already had my child vaccinated by orthodox means? If youve already chosen to vaccinate your child and will continue to do so, constitutional treatment will help the body recover from any ill effects and build up the immune system over time. If you have part vaccinated your child, but now wish to change to homeopathic immunisation, a m od if ied p r og ra m can be individually suggested. If there have been adverse r e a c t io ns in the p a st to conventional vaccination, homeopathic treatment will definitely be required to repair the damage and stabilise the immune

system. The "Vaccination Detox Progam" based on the work of Dr Tinus Smits in Holland, may be used to aid in this process, alongside standard constitutional treatment. What if I dont want to use either conventio nal or homeopathic immunisation? As a homeopath, I believe that every parent should have the choice of whether or not to vaccinate, and should be offered information on alternatives to vaccination to enable them to make an informed decision on long term healthcare for their children. Should you choose not to use either conventional or homeopathic options for your child, I strongly r e co mme nd con st itu ti ona l treatment to strengthen the immune system and build up your childs ability to resist disease, and recover quickly and completely. The purchase of a homeopathic first aid kit to enable treatment of childhood disease, should it arise, is a very good idea as homeopathy encourages the body to heal itself, thus continually strengthening the immune system. A kit can be t a ilo re d to yo u r f a milie s requirements so you will need only a small number of remedies for maximum benefit, or we offer a variety of ready-made kits. Maintenance visits to your homeopath need only be every three to six months once an

appropriate level of health has been achieved through constitutional prescribing. Reaction to remedies in the Program Occasionally a child will react to remedies in the program. These are NOT toxic reactions as can be experienced with conventional vaccination. They represent a clearing effect and indicate the child has a predisposition to this particular disease. Any reaction will typically be mild and short lasting. If your child experiences any noticeable reaction, you should contact me as soon as possible, and before continuing the program. Keeping Records It is important to keep an accurate record of all remedies given in the Program. This supports your claim that you have been acting to protect your child, should proof of this be required. Please note, however, that homeopathic immunisation is not currently recognised by Government bodies or the medical system as a valid form of vaccination. Please speak to me or ring the Australian Vaccination Network if you have any concerns about day care or school entry. If you do not vaccinate, you may be req ui red to sub m it a Conscientious Objection Form to the Governments Vaccination Register. These are available from the Clinic or your Medicare office.

Program for protection from birth

The Program begins at 1 month of age and continues, in reducing frequency, up until your child is 4 years old - or 12 years if you choose to include Rubella. The Program covers all diseases usually vaccinated against under the conventional program. As you will see protection against some of the less severe diseases are optional and can be purchased separately. The Program is supplied with full instructions regarding administration of the remedies, plus a record card with space to record any adverse or notable reactions to any of the immunisations. Your point of contact for questions or concerns regarding the program will be myself, as many homeopaths do not use and/or are not familiar with the immunisation program. You will be kept informed of any change of address of the homeopathic clinic where you purchased your kit. Please ensure you keep us updated if you change your address.

Homeopathic Immunisation Program

Although it is Government policy to encourage vaccination of all children for health reasons, there are many families who choose not to vaccinate their children by orthodox means. Homeopathy can offer a safe and effective option to orthodox vaccination via a program of homeopathic remedies known as homeoprophylaxis, which protects against the same diseases as the conventional vaccination program. The homeoprophylaxis program has been in use for some 15 years, with much research to prove its efficacy. The remedies are administered via the mouth, making their way direct to the central nervous and immune systems naturally, rather than being injected into the blood stream. The program offered herein is Isaac Goldens updated 2004 version, covering the diseases of most concern. Immunisation remedies against additional diseases are available separately. A consultation is required for the dispensing of any immunisation remedies.
