Create sales order VA01
Requirement type: KEK MTO configure material
Here u have selected 12 x13 window , here It will not showing Brown colour
In variant condition row we r seeing three row in third row “ F “ this indicates
variant condition value
Save the sales order.

After configuration request is generated in SO , i.e

characteristic values is transferred from SO to material
planning PP.

After material production is completed in PP, the system

returns the material from production order to sales order.

MB1C enter sales order , item no.521 special stock E

501 E Receipt w/o purchase order into unrestricted sales
order stock 501E
Check in MMBE u can see in stock in sales orders stock
In sales order material is confirmed

Create Delivery document with refer to sales order

And pick and PGI.
VF01 create Billing doc with ref to Delivery doc.

Save and RTA

Precondition: used to hide characteristics and characteristic values, it assign in
Characteristic , characteristic values

Selection condition: determines which variants require a specific component or

operation. Used to select relevant objects such as BOM items, characteristics etc ..based
on characteristic chosen. This condition can be assign only to Cathartics, characteristic
values.

Action condition: used to conclude (infer)values for characteristics. Values that r set by
an action cannot be overwritten. This condition can be assign only to Characteristics,
characteristic values and configuration profile ***

Procedures: Used to conclude (infer) values for characteristic – they r like actions
Here we can overwrite default values that r set by other procedures. This can be assign to
configuration profile **** CU42 only
