Villanueva Course: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Undergraduate Thesis 64 University of Rizal System-Rodriguez School of Business Rodriguez Rizal Summary: This study aimed to asses the extent of services offered by Micro Financing Business in Rodriguez Rizal. There were 275 respondents wherein 168 were females and 107 were males. Twelve of them were business owners and 263 were the borrowers. The study employed Descriptive Method of research. In order to determine the profile of the respondents, frequency, percentage and rank distribution were used. To assess the extent of services offered by Micro Financing Business. T-test was used. From the data gathered, it was revealed that in terms of age, majority of the respondents belonged to the age bracket of 38 years old and above with a frequency of 134

or 48.73 percent and the least of number of respondents belonged to the age bracket of 1822 years old with frequency of 11 or 4 percent. In terms of Sex, majority of the respondents were females with a frequency of 168 or 61.09 percent while males were 107 or 39.91 percent. In terms of Monthly Family Income, 67 or 24.36 percent earning ranged from 11 to 13 thousand monthly; 58 or 21.09 percent earned from 8 to 10 thousand; 52 or 18.91 percent earned 4 thousand below or 18.91 percent earned 5 thousand to 7 thousand; 37 or 13.41 percent earned 14 thousand to 16 thousand. There were only 11 or 4 percent who had the highest earning of 17 thousand and above. With regard to the extent of services offered by Micro Financing as perceive by respondents in terms of lending money. The verbal interpretations agree dominated in the verbal interpreted of all the factors presented. Hence, the average mean was 3.23verbally interpreted agree. The same finding was seen in terms of borrowing money. The average mean was 3.22 verbally interpreted agree. There was significant difference between the perceived extent of services offered by Micro financing business in Rodriguez, Rizal when they were grouped according to their profile. From the findings the following conclusions were drawn: As the age gets older the needs also get bigger. Females are braver than males when it comes to borrowing of money. Practically, most borrowers were low income earners. They were prompted to borrow to augment their daily needs. Micro Financing was responsive to the needs of its borrowers. Borrowers believe that borrowing from Micro Financing can help themselves from bondage of poverty. Owners and lenders differ to their perception to the extent of services offered by Micro Financing.

In the light of the findings and conclusions drawn from the study the following were recommended. The Micro Finance Business can continue engaging in this kind of business to continuously help the community. The Students and Researchers should know the advantages and disadvantages of using borrowed capital before engaging into any kind of business. The Lenders or Borrowers should be responsible enough in using borrowed money. Hence, they should be careful in investing it to business.
