Marculesti IFA Chief Manager Greetings

I am glad to present you the opportunity of doing business at the Marculesti International Free Airport. Given the favorable geographical location, the developed infrastructure and the availability of sufficient skilled manpower in the region, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova adopted the Law No. 178-XVI of 10 July 2008 on the Marculesti International Free Airport. This Airport was founded with the purpose to accelerate the development of air transportation, aviation and logistics services, export-oriented industrial production and foreign trade. It is a precisely delimited territory, where investors benefit from tax and customs facilities with regard to their activities and serious guarantees provided by the state. In comparison with other free economic zones of the Republic of Moldova, the access to the Airport is provided by three of the four access routes: road, railway and air, this being an international airport. Marculesti International Free Airport offers its users a developed infrastructure consisting of water network, electric power network, telecommunications, roads, railway, storage premises, offices, etc. According to the law, the residents of the Free Airport may carry out activities related to aviation and ground maintenance, wholesale trade, industrial production, agricultural production processing, sorting, packaging, marking and other operations with goods in transit and other types of activity. I believe that, besides the aforesaid, a growing interest for potential residents would be the purchase of a new aircraft, use and upgrade of the airfield, especially the runway, construction of passenger and cargo terminals, pilot school, helicopter repair plant, construction of housing, etc. Hoping to hear from you, and with the certainty that your business could grow in our environment.
