In the race for Senate, Feinstein and Emken differ on many issues. Feinstein is pro-choice, supports Obamacare, and is in favor of marriage equality. Emken is pro-life, supports repealing Obamacare, and defines marriage as between a man and woman. Phil Jennerjahn, the Republican running in the 28th District that includes WeHo, lists on his website as priorities: Defeat Obama, end Obamacare, dismantle large parts of Federal bureaucracy. Running against Jennerjahn is Adam Schiff (D-Burbank). The incumbent from CA-29 was first elected in 2000. He supports Obamacare, campaign finance reform, and has 100 percent rating from Planned Parenthood and 97 percent from the Human Rights Campaign.

Other Races
Redistricting has put all of West Hollywood in the 28th district while WeHos previous congressman, Rep. Henry Waxman is running in the 33rd district, outside of WeHo. In WeHos 50th State Assembly District, Dem. Betsy Butler has been running against Dem. Richard Bloom for State Assembly. Bloom is the Mayor of Santa Monica and Butler is the incumbent State Assemblywoman since 2010.
