Bible month activities
Sunday: December 02, 2012: Competitions in various categories during the class. Check with your class teacher for details. Essay competition for 9 to 12 graders Topics: Faith working through love. (Galatians 5:6) or The Lord is my shepherd (Psalms 23) or "Psalms: Human experience viewed through the eyes of faith" Saturday: December 08, 2012: Advent retreat for 4th grade to 12th graders from 10.00 AM to 3.00 PM. Sunday: December 09, 2012: Psalms in art stage program. Students will present Psalms on the stage. Event is open to all parishioners from 10.15 to 11.15 AM. Please note: English mass is rescheduled to 9.00 AM on that day. There is no change in the CCD schedule Our scheduled retreat for high school students during the thanksgiving weekend has been moved to February 8-12, 2013.

Announcements
We will have thanks giving day Mass at 10.00am on Thursday Nov.22. Please join this thanks giving Mass and o er gratitude to our Good Lord Bible month: We have selected Book of Psalms for our study, focus and contemplation on this Bible Month. When we gather for ward prayers we will discuss book of psalms also this month. Various activities Coloring, story-telling, Psalms in art etc. for CCD students are planned. Please check with your childs class teacher for details. We have arranged a one day retreat for CCD students on December 8th in preparation of Christmas. Family Focus in collaboration with Alexian brothers is coordinating a seminar for CCD 11th and 12th graders and a panel discussion for parents today. We have arranged a short retreat by Fr Tom Kunnumpuram and Mr Sunny Stephan on Friday November 30th and Saturday December 1st from 9.30 am to 4.00 PM in preparation for the season of advent. Parish Quiz program will be done this year as usual. It will cover Acts Chapters 1-12, general questions basing our bulletin this year and Viswasa Varsham. The questions are available through your ward presidents by November 25th and you have to return it by December 16th. Those who want to be a parish council representative from each ward they have to give their name before 2nd of Dec. The application forms are available with Fr Vicar or Kaikaran. They have to give all their dues to the church and must be models in faith. We would like to reorganize SMCC those members already working in SMCC have to renew their membership and we welcome new members also. Filled up application forms must be returned December 10th 2012.

Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadeloupe

We wish to go for a pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadeloupe, Mexico in February. Those who wish to join this Pilgrimage approach Kaikarans.

Pulkoodu Competition

CONGRATULATIONS

As usual we will be conducting the pulkoodu competition as part of the Christmas celebration. Those who want to participate,please register with your ward officials by 9th of December 2012. Ward officals should inform the carol committee the selected crib from each wards by 16th of December 2012. Christmas Carol meeting will be held on November 25, 2012 at 9:30 AM in the conference room. All the ward officials and council members are expeted to be in the meeting.
