The November 4 Adult Formation topic will be the upcoming Diocesan mission trip to our companion Diocese of Lui in the South Sudan, and includes a special guest, Lisa Fox of Grace-Jefferson City. Lisa went on the very first mission trip to Lui in 2006. Please join us for what promises to be a very informative topic. How do you hope to grow spiritually through this upcoming mission trip, even though you will be back home in Kirksville? This weeks Lui Tidbit: Did you know that one of ten babies born in Lui dies in infancy? Did you know that only 17% of children there are fully up-to-date on their vaccinations? Did you know that in the Republic of South Sudans capital city, Juba, that six percent of people there are infected with HIV? Our missioners to Lui have been helping to provide accurate and factual health and child care information to the Moru people, particularly in working through the Mothers Union. Your support brings life-saving educational strategies to the other side of the globe. Howard Hickman Update: Howard is home from Barnes Hospital in St. Louis! Expect to see Howard and Lisa return to Sunday worship soon!
