Daniel Evans Concert


Around 50 people attended a piano recital on Saturday evening by Old Tockingtonian Daniel Evans. All were very impressed by 17 year old Daniels performance. He played Prelude de Prelude (own composition), Cinq Preludes Opus 15 (Scriabin), Opus 111 1st Movement (Beethoven), Sonata in C Hoboken XV1:50 (Hadyn) and Sonata in B Minor (Liszt) with two encores, a Chopin Nocturne and a piece by Mozart.

Tennis Success
Congratulations to Jessie Sanzo on reaching the semifinals of the U9 Girls National Tennis Championships at Southampton.

Year 1 Assembly
All parents are welcome to attend the Year 1 Assembly on Friday 30th November in the school hall.

Request from Tree Top Club


The Tree Top Club would be delighted to receive any unwanted action toys, puzzles or board games. If you have anything you can spare, please hand in to the office.

School Exams
Exams for Years 5-8 will take place on Monday 26th November to Friday 30th November.

Cross Country
There were two outstanding performances this week from Freya Belcher (15 minutes 59 seconds) who gained entry on to our senior girls list and from Helena Brain who ran an incredible 8 minutes 53 seconds, lowering her Personal Best by 16 seconds on a muddy, windy day. Other notable performances came from Joe Ancell, James Allen and Bennie Sanzo who ran an impressive 2 minutes.56 seconds, leading home the Years 3 and 4 race. Current leaders of the November Cup are Helena Brain 18 pts, Imogen Rees 17 pts and Beth Pritchard 15 pts (Years 5-8); Bennie Sanzo 19 pts, Harry Huby 17 pts and James Allen 17 pts (Years 3 & 4). Congratulations to Year 7 and 8 girls who easily beat the boys to win themselves a Mufti Day on Friday 30th November.

Post Exam Exeat


Post Exam Exeat begins at 4.00 pm on Friday 30th November. There are no evening activities on that day.

Nearly New Shop


The nearly new shop will be open on Tuesday 4th December from 2.00 to 4. 00 pm (by appointment only).

Informal Concert
There will be an informal concert at 1.30 pm in the hall on Monday 3rd December. Everyone welcome.

Flooding on Top Field

OT London Party
Seventeen people attended the OT London Party last Thursday at the Holborn Whippet. There was a lovely crosssection of ages including our very first OT Alastair Rattray. It was a very enjoyable evening.

Years 4 & 5 Trips


Year 4 had a fantastic day out at Bristol Museum this week and Year 5 enjoyed their day out at Blaise Castle before half term. All the children were well-behaved and very knowledgeable. Well done, everyone! Mrs Tovey
