GUIDLINES FOR THE 1ST GREEN ME FILM AWARD 2013 Preliminary note
Since 2008 the Green Me Lounge offers a platform for the green film on the occasion of the Berlinale Film Festival. In 2013, we honor the filmmakers and award the Green Me Film Award. A 5.000 Euro award that focuses on the green film genre. This years focus is on Africa. We welcome all African Filmmakers to submit their long, short, feature or documetary films at no charge (best in blue ray). If you want your copy to be sent back please include 20 Euros for handling and shipping. If not it will be securely archived at Green Me. The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday February 6th. 2013 at Kosmos Berlin Germany.

Film selection
For the competition of the Green Me Award, all genres and all formats are allowed, with an emphasis on socio-ecological issues. The finalists will be announced on the 6th January 2013.

Registration

Jury
An independent jury consisting of movie and environmental professionals will select the winning film.

Determination of the winner

Among the preselected films, the jury chooses a winner. Each jury member has one vote. The decisions of the jury are made by simple majority vote. A legal claim for an award of the prize does not exist. Claims under the provisions of 657-661 BGB can not be derived. There is no right of appeal. We are looking forward to your submission.
