Use equivalent radius to simplify calculations.
Do not need to know gearbox ratios, pulley or
rope sizes. Uses inertia of a cylinder where
all weight is effectively distributed around an
arc scribed by the equivalent radius.

Points:
1) This is a maximum resistor resistance. Any
increase in resistor resistance means that the
peak power of 8.097kW can not be dissipated
causing the Drive to fault on over voltage etc.
2) Peak regeneration occurs at maximum speed
when accelerating or decelerating when under
regeneration. At half speed under the same
operating conditions power dissipation by the
resistor will only be 4kW.
3) No allowance has been made for a car that could
be overloaded!!
